Chapter Twelve:)

This chapter kind of sucks, but I hope you enjoy it.

Do yall want a chapter dedicated to letters sent in between Y/n and Genya?

"Welcome to day one rehabilitation training Tanjiro and Inosuke!" Aoi yelled out at the two boys standing in front of her with a determined look on her face. Kanao, Sumi, Kiyo, Naho and Y/n all agreed to help with rehabilitation training.

 The three girls were to help with flexibility and stretching, while Aoi, Kanao and Y/n helped with speed, endurance and reflex training. 

During the first week of rehabilitation training, Zenitsu did not join his friends due to his shorten limbs, he did join the rehabilitation training on the second week.

 Tanjiro and Inosuke would always leave the training completely drained. So, on Zenitsu's first day of training, he had dragged his friends outside lecturing them, telling them they were lucky to be touched by such beautiful women and to stop being ungrateful. Aoi trained with Inosuke, Kanao would train with Tanjiro and Y/n trained with Zenitsu.

 Whenever Y/n played tag with Zenitsu he would have this odd look on his face like he was in a trance. Tanjiro struggled to beat Aoi in both the cups and tag same with Inosuke but against Aoi.

 After a few days of training Inosuke and Zenitsu stopped coming, it irritated Aoi. On the third week of training, Tanjiro was finally able to give the boost of motivation his friends needed. 

When Y/n was not there to help with the training she would be on missions or with Genya, during these past three weeks Y/n and Genya only got closer. They would often meet up somewhere or would keep each other company after their missions.

On the fourth week of rehabilitation training, Y/n wasn't there once again, she was with Genya.

"Caw a letter from Tanjiro!" Y/n's crow yelled at her swooping down landing on her arm handing her the letter, Y/n opened it and proceeded to read it.

'ear Y/n, I'm very grateful for your assistance in training Zenitsu, Inosuke and me. I owe you big time for saving Nezuko. Its been four works since rehabilitation training have started, I was finally able to beat Kanao in tag and the cups. Of course, I didn't dump the water on her, I thought the water was too dirty so I just placed it on her head. I'd love for you to tell me more about Kanao sometime! Also Inosuke Zenitsu and I or going on a joint mission with the flame pillar, so wish us luck Y/n, also I pray for your safety Y/n.

Y/n smiled as she read the letter placing it down beside her on the beige bench "what're you smiling at" Y/n looked up to see Genya standing there with a plate of mochi handing it to her. 

Y/n was slightly surprised at the gesture, and soon took the food "Thank you, Genya!" Y/n explained smiling at him, only for him to become flustered. He sat on the bench beside her becoming even more flustered every second, Y/n offered him a mochi and he took it. 

"Tanjiro sent me a letter," Y/n said looking down at the mochi, starting to eat one. Genya hummed in response. 

Genya and Y/n sat in silence munching on the mochi before making their way back to the butterfly estate. The two walked around the estate talking and small giggled would often leave Y/n's mouth.

 Y/n knew about how she felt about Genya, but she decided to ignore this feeling. Y/n did not want this feeling to get in the way of her goal, and her goal was to annihilate all demons.

Shinobu saw the pair of teenagers and felt a smile form on her face with a sigh of relief.

 Shinobu was glad to see her younger sister bonding with someone let alone a boy, in all honesty, she did not want Y/n to be in the demon slayer corps. 

She wanted her younger sister to find a husband and have a family of her own. Shinobu knew she wouldn't be able to forgive herself if something tragic were to happen to Y/n on a mission.

 Especially since she was the one to train Y/n.
