The next two weeks passed by slowly and my whole life was change in the process, I started to learn about all the different kinds of Fae and the war that tore Faerie in half, Leon was only a few years older than me and classed as a youngling, Fae can live for hundreds of years, that really shouldn't have surprised me they are magical beings after all and apparently so am I even though we are still yet to find out what kind, I push my thoughts to the back of my mind as my mentor Magus cleared his throat signaling he noticed my concentration slip, I straightened my back leaning forward on my chair, indicating for him to continue. He gave me a curt not before continuing,  "as I was saying the war is what split our realm in half and since then the city if Itzal has been completely cut of from the rest Faerie, from time to time we have a few Fae seek refuge at our borders or deflect to Elphame completely" he handed me a sheet of parchment with names I couldn't pronounce Upton it, "these were the great warriors who fought in the war before a peace treaty was invoked, your mother Queen Adela tried to reunite Itzal and Elphame some twenty years ago resulting a small battle where she sadly lost her life but not before sending her most valued warrior to search for you regardless of his young age and well now here we are, though we did know of your birth until she sent for you. Do you have any question Princess Claramond?".

Three years prior...

Leandor's P.O.V

The rumors' have been spreading lately, the Queen has a daughter an heir to the thrown they say and now I've been summoned by her majesty, I wonder what she wants with me? I know I'm the youngest to make the royal guard in cemeteries but there's nothing special about me.

I enter the throne room and kneel bowing my head in respect, "Your majesty" I say with a quite but strong voice, "Sir Leandor, I have a rather big favor to ask you" she's speaking as though we are old friends, I stay silent waiting for her to continue, "the rumors' that I'm sure you've heard are more than rumors', they are in fact the truth and now Sir Leandor I must ask that you go to the human world and search for my daughter, bring her home. I planned to do it myself on her sixteenth birthday however due to the hostilities we are receiving from Itzal and it's leaders I am afraid I may not he able to so I ask you Sir Leandor, find my daughter and return her to me and her home".

It's been two weeks since the Queen asked me to go to the human world and search for her daughter, all I have to go off is her name, Claramond and the city in which the Queen left her with a trusted friend. I make my way around the large city tracking the magic waves of Fae that immigrated to the human world and their children, so far I've been met with dead end after dead end.

One year later.

A large surge of power flared, I couldn't believe my luck, I had to follow it sure it was after midnight but if I could track it I might find the Princess, this power was like no other I'd ever felt I was sure it was her.

I narrowed my search to a certain part of Chicago that night but I still had no look finder her and now Itzal has started another war, one that Queen Adela has vowed to end, I had to find the Princess and soon.

A few month's passed and the power from that night had somehow vanished the odd small surges happened all over the city and with the passing of Queen at the battle of the Fae I was ready to give up when the power surged once more, it felt stronger and I didn't hesitate to use my Fae speed to reach the area the power had come from.

I finally found the Queens trusted friend, he appeared to be human but I knew better, there are tales of him back home in Faerie, he was the Queens fiercest warrior, everyone knew he had fallen in love with a human so it didn't surprise anyone when the Queen gave him permission to move to the human world and knowing everything I know now makes so much more sense. He was in a bad shape Claramond's powers are breaking through the bloke that was placed on them and unfortunately he was there target, I need to find her before someone get's killed.

It's been a year since I found where Balfager was hiding her and I've following her across the country ever since, every time I think I'm getting close she disappears again it's like she's always two steps ahead of me. I can't do it alone so I head back to the only person in Faerie could me, but weather she will help me is another story for another thing all together.

I make my way to border of Elphame and Itzal and try to summon all the courage I may posses as I knock on  seers door, only no one answers. I June as I hear rattily breathing right behind me, "why so jumpy Sir Leandor, I don't bite, not all the time anyway" I turn to face the seer, her old hazel eyes stared straight to my soul, "I'm sorry to intrude Madame Sibyl..." she grabbed my forearm and pulled me down so that we were face to face, "It took you long enough to get here, I can't help you find her but I can tell you why she was hidden away and why you need to find her, before she was even conceived I warned the Queen that her daughter would be fighting a battle with darkness and that wherever she goes darkness will follow the Queen thought that if she took her away from our world away from the darkness itself she would stop the prophecy from coming true but if you don't find her soon then the darkness will not only consume the Princess but both of the worlds and the fate of creatures depends on her fighting the darkness" I shouldn't be shocked but I was I ran my hand through my hair and looked it the sky before turning back to the old Seer to find she disappeared as quickly as she had appeared. I came for answers and got nothing but more questions.

Her powers were slipping through quicker each time, it became apparent that she was cared of them as she kept jumping town every few months that was until about another year later where she stopped being two steps ahead and I was able to find her, I watched in shock as a sink hole opened up in Texas right next to a diner, dozens of people rush out the door. And then I saw her it had to be her, no human could have hair that naturally red, I followed her closely for the rest of the day until she boarded a bus, I couldn't loose her to damn human transport so I used my powers to speed up the motor bike I'd become attached to this last year and caught up to it at the next stop. She was extremely attractive she had a small frame and perfect curves her hair was long and wavy and she had beautiful freckles across her cheeks and collar bones. I cleared my throat, "Claramond Balfager?".
