A/N: I'm just on a roll with these uploads. I usually don't like to upload so frequently but these days I do, haha. I'll slow down soon, I promise. Anyway, enjoy!

Elle's POV

My hands are shaking as I clench my car's steering wheel, pushing the gas pedal aggressively. The way my heart beats right now is unlike anything I've ever experienced. It all happened so fast...one minute I was inside the school having a casual conversation with a teacher, and then I stepped out into the parking lot to witness my worst nightmare.

"What the hell happened?" I question Xavier, who sits in the passenger seat massaging his jaw. I fled the Wilburton parking lot quicker than one can even say "parking lot."

I can't describe the shock that overwhelmed me when I came outside to find Christian assaulting Xavier. For a second it felt like one big hallucination. My mind couldn't wrap around itself around the sight of Christian and Xavier...two people who've never met before...brawling.

The only thing I could process was the fear that consumed me. Fear that Christian would get in serious trouble, or even hurt himself.

Fear that Xavier would not bounce back from Christian's brutality.

"You sure he's your ex?" Xavier glares at me, once we reach a red light. His face is deeply flushed, and there is a light bruise right below his cheek. "Cause the guy has such a stick up his ass about you, one would think you two are still together."

"What are you talking about?"

"Okay. Here's what happened." He begins. The nauseous feeling in my stomach doesn't let up, as I listen attentively.

"I had been looking for you non stop in the parking lot, since you told me to meet you there."

Okay...

"I couldn't find you, but I did see your old fling. So I decided to ask him if he saw you by any chance."

The more Xavier says out loud, the more I am able to mentally piece together how the situation ended up badly. Only because I know Christian.

"Continue." I urge, trying to focus on both the road and the story. My frazzled emotions made me accidentally run two red lights.

Xavier clears his throat, before the story resumes.

"To sum it up, I ended up asking him. He said he didn't know, told me to fuck off, then punched me."

"Wait what?" I blink, arriving at my house shortly after. I park my car, and unbuckle my seatbelt so I can face Xavier completely.

"That's it?"

Christian and anger issues are borderline synonymous, but this is a reach. Even for him. He's hot tempered, but he's not an idiot. There's no way he would step out of line for something so minuscule. Not unless he's gone insane.

Xavier nods slowly, but the look on his face resembles someone who is trying to recall something else.

"Oh, and I told him you sucked me off. Or that I want you to suck me off. Something along those lines, the details are blurry." He adds nonchalantly. "After that, he punched me."

My jaw drops.

"You...what?!" I sputter loudly, making him jump in his seat.

I cannot believe....why would he...does he actually...what the fuck?

My already overwhelmed thoughts multiply leaving me more flustered. With this knowledge in mind, I now understand why Christian was quick to hit him.
