Chapter 10:

Tay's P.O.V:

" So your not suspended?" Piper asked Cassie.

" No. But Luke and Michael are."

" What are you gonna do?" I asked.

" What do you mean?"

" About Luke and Michael."

" I won't talk to either of them."

" Really?"

" Yeah."

" How are you gonna do that?" Piper asked.

" I don't wanna talk about this anymore. Can we change the subject?"

" Wait. When do we go to the party?" Piper asked looking at me.

" It starts in 30 minutes." I said looking at the time.

" We have to go get ready." Cassie said.

We all stood up and ran to our rooms to change into something more nice. I walked into the living room and didn't see Piper or Cassie.

" You ready?" I yelled to Cassie and Piper.

" Yeah." They both answered back.

They walked into the living room and we walked to the door. We walked out of the house and I locked the door. We started walking to the place that the party was being held at.

We arrived at an old building. There was moss growing on the bricks. The bricks were also cracked.

" This is it." Piper said.

" Are you sure?" Cassie asked.

" It's the same address that's on the invitation."

We stood in front of the building and looked at it.

" I don't see anyone else." Cassie said.

" Let's go in." I said taking lead.

We walked in and the room was empty.

" Nobody." Piper said.

Music started playing and I looked at Piper and Cassie. We started looking around to find where the music is coming from.

" Hi." I heard a voice whisper in my ear.

" Hi." I said shyly.

" No need to be shy." Calum said.

Calum turned me around so we were facing each other. He put his hands on my waist and my hands automatically went around his neck.

" You look beautiful." Calum said smiling.

I looked over to see Luke and Cassie dancing. I looked around and saw Ashton and Piper dancing too.

" Thank you." I said quietly.

I looked up and Calum's eyes. I looked down and Calum pulled me closer.

" Hey. It's alright." Calum whispered.

I looked back up and our faces were inches away. I pushed Calum away and stumbled backwards.

" What was that?" Calum asked.

I saw Piper push Ashton away and Cassie pushed Luke away. They quickly came and stood beside me.

" What's the matter with you?" Luke asked.

" You! Your the matter!" Cassie said.

" We're only playing around." Ashton said.

" But it's not fun or funny." Piper said.

" It is to everyone." Ashton said.

" Not to us." Piper said.

" But clearly we don't care. We're just people's welcome mat. That's what we'll ever be." I said.

The boys' expressions dropped.

" What? You are cared about." Calum said.

" Clearly not if we're getting bullied everyday!" Cassie yelled.

The boys stayed quiet.

" To think we mattered to people." I said.

" You do matter!" Ashton said.

" Keep telling people that. Even though it's not true. But if you say so it must be true." Piper said.

" Come on. Let's not bother them anymore." I said.

We turned and started walking out of the building. Someone grabbed my arm and I was spun around and Calum was standing there.

" You do matter." Calum said grabbing my waist.

Calum pulled me closer and closer until we were inches away again.

" You always have and will matter." Calum whispered before kissing me.

" I haven't or never will matter." I said pushing him away and walking out.

We got back home and we all went to our rooms without saying anything. I closed my door and layed my head against it.

" I've never mattered and I never will matter."
