Chapter 35

Piper's P.O.V:
" Michael." Cassie said standing up.

I stood up and we both walked over to him.

"I ran into Tay on my way here. She snapped and slapped me." Michael said rubbing his cheek.

"She freaked out on us too." I said.

"About what?" Michael asked confused.

"How about we go into the kitchen to talk. We've been packing for a while and I'm exhausted." I said.

We all walked into the kitchen and I pulled 3 cups from a box.

"I'm good." Michael said waving off the offer.

"Me too." Cassie said.

I sighed and filled my cup up with milk. I put the other two cups away and I sat down beside Cassie.

"So why did she freak out on you?" Michael aged shifting in the chair.

"We told her we couldn't love Luke and Ashton anymore." Cassie said.

"You couldn't?" Michael asked confused.

"No."

"Why not? You make perfect couples. Luke and Ashton are perfect for you both."

"We can't date if we move. Long distance relationships usually don't work. Plus when we're gone they are gonna move on." I said.

"They won't."

"What?" Cassie and I asked at the same time.

"They clearly love you too much. I bet Tay is gonna tell them your moving. They won't let you move."

"We'll we're moving whether they like it or not." Cassie said crossing her arms across her chest.

"Give us one good reason." I said.

The doorbell rang and we all stood up. We ran to the door and I opened it.

"You can't move!" Luke said grabbing Cassie's hand.

"We have to." Cassie said.

"Please don't. I would die if you moved. " Ashton said.

"We're moving. That's final." I said.

"No! Don't!" Ashton and Luke shouted at the same time.

"Why?" I asked.

"I love you. I know somewhere deep inside you love me too. You just have to find that feeling and have it show the most." Ashton said grabbing my wrist.

"Ashton. I'm sorry. I can't." I said shaking my head.

"What about all those times?"

"Ashton. I'm really sorry. But moving is a great opportunity for us. We need this."

"Please. No. I'm begging you." Ashton said.

"Ashton." I said quietly.

Ashton grabbed my waist and pulled me into a kiss. After a couple seconds we stopped kissing.

"I guess that was our last kiss." Ashton said as he sighed.

I looked down at the ground and he turned. Luke and Ashton walked out of the house and we turned to look at Michael.

"You are making a big mistake."

He slid between us and walked out. I stood there shocked and speechless. I sighed and looked at the ground.

"Cassie." I said looking at her.

She looked at me. "What?"

I walked out the door and started walking down the street.

"Piper." Cassie said grabbing my arm.

I turned around to look at her.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

I pushed her away from me and continued walking.

"Their house is that way." Cassie said.

"I know." I said still walking.

"Where are you going?" Cassie asked running up beside me.

I stayed quiet and walked to the edge of the tree line.

"Piper. No." Cassie said grabbing my arm.

I pushed her off again. I walked into the woods.

"Piper!" Cassie called out.

I turned around to look at her and I heard something.
