Chapter 14:

Piper's P.O.V:

" Why did she do that?" Cassie aske leaning against the counter.

" I don't know." I said putting my cereal bowl in the sink.

" If she wanted to escape she would've said something to us. Wouldn't she?"

" I don't know why not." I said as we walked into the living room.

We sat down and watched TV. I looked at the time and saw it was 3:00 in the afternoon.

" At 5 im going to the hospital. Do you want to come?"

" No. Im good."

" What do you want to do until then?"

" Want to go on a walk?"

" Sure!"

We got our shoes on and headed out the door. We walked to the park and walked around the pond. I saw Ashton, Luke, and Calum walking.

" Boys!" I whispered.

The boys saw us and walked towards us.

" Hey." Ashton said.

" Hi." I said shyly.

" I have a question." Cassie said.

We all looked at her.

" How did you find out we were at the hospital?"

Calum started laughing. Cassie and I looked at each other and back to Calum.

" I saw you and Michael leaving school and followed you to the hospital."

" Why?" Cassie asked.

" I knew that you took Tay. I wanted to make sure she was ok."

" Sure." I said crossing my arms across my chest.

" What does that mean?"

" You didn't seem that way when you were hurting her." I said.

" I didn't want to hurt her."

" You always say that but you always hurt her." Cassie said.

Calum stood there quietly.

" Why do you hurt her?" I asked.

" I don't know." Calum said quietly.

Ashton grabbed my arm. " Can I talk to you?"

" Yeah."

I followed Ashton away from the group and we sat down on a bench.

" Im so sorry."

" For what?"

" Calum. I don't know what has gotten into him."

" Oh. It's fine."

" No. It's not. Im going to talk to him."

" You don't have to. It's fine."

" Other than that I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me."

I looked over at Cassie and Luke standing alone.

" Yeah. Tomorrow night?"

" Yeah. Pick you up at 8."

" Ok."

I stood up. " I have to get back to Cassie."

" Yeah. I better get back to the boys." Ashton said standing up.

" Ok."

" Ok."

" Um. Bye."

Ashton grabbed me and pulled me into a kiss. He stopped kissing me and stepped backwards.

" Im so sorry." Ashton stuttered out.

I ran over to Cassie. " Im going to check on Tay."

I quickly walked to the hospital. I walked up to the lady at the front desk. I told her who I was here to see and she let me through.

I walked down the hall and to Tay's room door.

" Tay?" I asked poking my head in.
