Chapter 39:

Cassie's P.O.V:

Michael put the last box in the back of his car and closed the trunk. I looked around and the boys weren't anywhere.

" You ready?" Michael asked.

" Um..... Can we wait a few minutes?" I asked.

" 5 minutes. If they don't show up we're leaving." Michael said.

I sat down on the curb and looked down.

" Cassie." Tay called.

I looked up and they motioned me over to them. I walked over and stood beside them.

" Want to look around one last time?" Piper asked.

I nodded my head.

" Michael!" Tay yelled. " We're going to look around one last time."

" Ok. Hurry up."

We all rushed inside and walked into the living room. We walked around and sadness came over me. We walked around the house going into our rooms and other rooms. I walked into my room and looked around. We finished the tour and walked back outside. Piper locked the door behind her and hide the key.

" This is it." Tay said.

" Yep." I said.

" Yep." Piper said.

I sighed and looked around. " Where are the boys?"

" I don't know. I'm starting to think they didn't want to say goodbye." Piper said.

" Time to go!" Michael yelled getting into the drivers seat of his car.

We all looked around and didn't see the boys.

" Come on." Tay said walking towards the car.

I got into the passenger side and got buckled.

" The boys!" Piper said.

I looked up and saw the boys running towards the car.

" Hurry. You have 5 minutes to say bye." Michael said sighing.

I quickly got out and ran to Luke. I ran into his arms and we hugged tight.

" So your really going?" Luke asked.

" Yeah." I said rocking on my feet.

Luke pulled me into a kiss and stopped. He stepped back and bit his lip.

" What was that for?" I asked in confusion.

" That will be our last kiss for now."

" What?"

" I hope we run into each other again." Luke said.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. " Me too."

" Time to go." Michael said.

Luke hugged me one last time and when I went to walk away he pulled me into a kiss. " I'm going to miss you and this. Mostly you."

" Me too."

" Here." Luke said handing me a card. " Don't open it until you get to the new house."

" Ok."

We hugged one last time and I ran over to the car.

" Call and text me as much as possible!" Luke yelled.

" You too!" I said getting in the car.

I got buckled again and Michael started the car. He drove away and I waved to Luke. The car turned to the right and the boys disappeared. I looked forward and shifted in my seat.

" You girls ready?" Michael asked turning the music up.

He started singing and I looked at him.

" What?" He asked laughing.

" You sing good." I said.

" Funny."

" You do." Tay said.

" Yeah." Piper said.

" If you think I sing good you should hear the other boys."

" I wish we could." I said sighing.

Michael held up a CD and I grabbed it.

" What is it?" Tay asked.

I looked at Michael.

" Why don't you find out?" Michael asked smirking.

I put the CD in the CD player and pressed play.

" Hey girls!" Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael cheered.

" What is this?" I asked.

" Just listen." Michael said turning up the volume a little bit.

" We wanted to make this for you as a special going away gift." Calum said.

" We decided to do a cover a cover of one of your favorite songs." Ashton said.

Piper, Tay, and I all looked at each other.

" Here we go." Michael said.

Someone started singing and I looked at Michael. " Who is singing?"

" Luke."

Someone else started singing and we all looked at each other.

" This is Calum." Michael said.

Someone else started singing and I recognized who was. " Michael." Tay, Piper, and I said at the same time.

A forth person started singing. " Ashton."

Pretty soon the song finished and I sat there in shock.

" Wow. You all sound really good."
