Part 2 || 7 - Yule Ball Scenes

Finally, after a week, all of my dresses had arrived. I had to wear each of them, just to make sure that it fit me perfectly. I was currently wearing the last dress that was Slytherin green, it was a little loose on the side, so that needed to get altered.

"Yeah, Nina, see, here" I said pointing at the sides of my chest, "it needs to be a little tighter, like the other dresses. And here" I continued and pointed at my waist, "I don't think this needs to be that tight"

"Alright, I've marked the changes. I'll have the costume designer on it" Nina said as I changed back to school clothes. We had to film the scene where the head of the houses are teaching the students how to waltz.

"Hey, did you get the fitting done?" Tom asked as he sat down on the Gryffindor side of the hall. The Slytherins and the Gryffindors were doing the practice together. A few were in the middle already practicing, while I was getting my makeup done.

"Yeah, all of them are perfect except the Slytherin green. It needed a lot of fitting" I said making Tom nod. Rob and I were still dating, but due to the pressure of filming, we saw each other lesser and lesser. Luckily, now, for the Yule Ball, I was Cedric's date, so, I will see him more except the usual 'see you at home after work'

I was still deciding what to do. I couldn't just get up one day and say 'Hey, you know what? I think I'm in love with my best friend, who has absolutely no idea and probably doesn't even like me or see me more than a best friend, but I think we should see other people' I cannot just breakup with him like that - out of the blue, I have to think about our families, the business and everything.

Speaking of family, my phone should ring about now-

"Hey, Daddy!" I said when he FaceTimed me. He happily waved at the screen and said, "Oh, hey, pumpkin. Are you on set?"

"Yeah, we're going to start filming the Yule Ball scenes"

"That should be fun"

"Yeah, what about you? How are you? And mom? What's Julius doing? Richard? How about the business?"

"Calm down, calm down. We're all great and the business is going good as well. I called to ask- Hey, it's that Tom?" I turned my phone towards him and scooted a little closer, so that the both of us would fit in the screen. Tom put an arm around my waist, so that his arm wouldn't take up space and that the both of us would be visible.

"Hello, Y/F/N" Tom said waving to the camera.

"Hey, young man. You better be taking care of my little girl-"

"I'm not little anymore. I am 18, Daddy"

"No matter how old you grow, you're still going to be my little baby girl"

"I'm taking great care of your daughter. Though she can be a handful sometimes"

"Yeah, I know" Dad said making me roll my eyes while the both of them laughed.

"Y/N, I called to ask, did you apply to any college?"

"Yeah, I applied to University of Hertfordshire. I mean we're filming here, I live here and it's like half hour away. So, it'll be easy for me. I applied to few others as well, but I hope I get accepted in UH"

"Don't worry, I know you will" he said re-assuring me. I decided to continue my education, while Tom didn't. We were going to soon graduate from high school, we still had prom.

"What about the course?"

"Oh, erm, I took up, BA with International Business"

"That's great. You'll be a great help, when you come here. Do you want me to pay-" Tom tightened his grip when Dad said 'you come here'
