Jimin's POV
*A Few Days Later*
"Hm hm hm~" The bright orange haired freshman hummed happily as he neatly folds his clothes into a suitcase and making sure to not forget his babies (jewellery), makeup tools and other important things you wouldn't want to know hidden inside the birch drawer next to his bed.
Today is Saturday and it is a good day since he is finally moving out but you see, the problem is that Jimin isn't that kind of person who gets everything sorted the day before but he is exactly the type to do things on the day or even worse, during the minimum total of one hour he has.
Yes, he is like that even if it means letting the fuss takes over his usual lazy Saturday morning of what he should bring with him or more specifically, how could he fit every single item he never knew he needed until this moment inside his suffocating bag.
But it was worth the headache since after Jimin has rung his boyfriend the second after he hung up with his mother and told him the big news, both of them were equally as excited and seeing Yoongi freaking out for the rest of the week has to be the cutest thing he has ever witnessed yet.
"What's this?" Squinting his eyes a little, Jimin murmured to himself once he sweeps through the empty hangers of his now vacant closet just to notice a dusty shoebox that seemed like it hasn't been opened in years.
Tilting his head to the right like a curious cat, Jimin takes the shoebox into his hand and carefully placed it down next to the loaded suitcase on his bed which he managed to shut the zip before opening it with the feeling of inquisitiveness.
"Wait...this is the shoes I wore!" A surprised gasp bubbling out of his throat, Jimin stares in disbelief when the box's lid slides open easily to reveal his mother's pair of red high heels that he immediately recognises without needing to take a second look.
It was the same pair he stolen that lanterns festival night to make himself feel better about not falling correctly in Yoonie's category of liking girls although looking back now, it is quite childish of him to confidently assume the boy's gender when the elder has taken an interest in him all along.
However as Jimin's eyes lingered on the shoe box, his observation skill did not let him down twice when he detected something in particular which would certainly blow his mind away even more.
"Yoonie..."
Between the tip of Jimin's thumb and index, there was a torn in half polaroid which has an identical background to the incomplete picture he saw before but unlike the other that show the boy's tightly pressed lips, this one captured a pair of lost eyes that manifest nothing in them but thousands of words that even a catching a glimpse could tell you everything.
Bursting out into loud incredulous chuckles, Jimin shooked his head rapidly at how things have ridiculously turned out with a glad smile on his relieved face. "So you were here all this time."
After all this time, the boy with half a face that Jimin consistently dreams of happens to be hiding inside his closet; listening to his soft cries and endless begging in the middle of the night but couldn't afford to answer his desperate call or shows his existence.
But none of it mattered anymore, he has finally found Min Yoongi, his Yoonie.
