"Yew'll get use to it" my dad said "Mani yew spoke tew yewr sista lately?" He asked
Armani smacked her teeth "no" she said smart
"Sister?" Vell questioned
"Yeah some shorty came to my daddy grave site on our birthday claiming she his daughter" Armani said "we just waiting on the DNA test to come back now" she added
"Listen she is yewr fatha's daughta" my dad said looking in his rearview mirror at her "and y'all need tew get close stop tryna push the gyal away I talk tew her everyday she said yew don't answer hea calls or text hea back" he said focusing back on the rode Armani rode her eyes
"Ion care for her really" She said
"Ion blame you if somebody walk up and fuck up my birthday claiming my daddy I'll lose it" I said
"Watch yewr mouf" my dad said "I know yew gone be mad at me but I promise my brotha that I'll look after his seeds and that whet I'm gone do it's my fault y'all not close and I apologize" he said pull up to the airport
"Why we here?" I asked looking around and so did Armani I looked at Vell in the passenger seat and he was all in his phone
"I know you lying" Armani said
"What?" I asked looking between the two "she about to leave?" I asked confused
"No he picking up Asia" Armani said and out walks Asia she stood at the doors of the airport looking around
"What the hell" I said
"Where she at?" Vell asked finally looking up from his phone my dad hopped out the car and went and help Asia
"Where that hoe about to seat not by me and that's on her" Armani said as they start walking over to the car
"Chill bro she ain't did shit to you if anything you need to be mad at my dad for whatever the fuck he did" Vell said Armani sighed "give her a chance" he said as they got in the car
"I already got siblings that's you and Li I ain't got room for no extras" she said looking at Asia dead in her eyes my dad sighed and pulled off we rode in complete silence
"So how was yewr flight gyal?" My dad asked Asia
"Cool I guess" she said looking out the window
"You stay in Florida?" Vell asked
"No Atlanta born and raised" she replied "but I'm thinking of moving out here to be closer to my family" she said
"Family?" I asked she looked over towards me and nodded
"Chill out" Vell said "we all gone get to know each other" he finish as my dad stopped the car and hopped out
"I'm getting food be back" and he walked away Vell turned in his seat
"Look I'm not trying be mean or none of that but to keep it a hundred with you I ain't trying kick it with you chill with you be friends with you or none of that" Armani said bluntly Asia looked at her and her eyes became watery
"I understand" she step out the car "I'm going to wait for the food with uncle Ronnie" she said before closing the door
"Yo you tripping jit" Vell said
"I'm just being honest" Armani struggled her shoulders
"Nah you being petty you being all mean to ole girl for no reason at all when the anger you got towards shorty should be towards your daddy she ain't ask him to cheat on yo mama and get her moms pregnant yo daddy did that on his own" Vell turned around in his seat and shook his head "you didn't even get her a chance you don't even know if her attentions pure or not and Li this ain't got shit to do with you so stay out of it don't be in her ear telling her shit she need to get along with her sister for gods sake they the only thing left we got from Unc" he added
"Why is you mentioning me ion say shit about the girl I could careless but if my sister feel a certain way about the whole ordeal of course I'm gone speak but ion say shit outta spite" I said he shook his head "and you wasn't there when we all was supposed to be having a celebration while her and her mom came fucking shit up so from my point of view she have every right to feel how she's feeling"
"Man this shit childish as fuck and y'all to old to still be acting like five year olds Mani don't be mad down the line when you need a kidney or something and the only person that can help you is Asia remember all this shit and Li you know how it feel to grow up with a dad she don't she knew it was a man out here her daddy but he was to ashamed of his actions he that he never took a chance to see her" Vell said
"You ain't about to seat here and talk shit about my daddy everybody knows he a give the shirt off his back to anybody that was in need he wasn't like that and if the shoe was on the other foot you wouldn't be saying the shit you saying now" Armani said
"Yeah we know that but he wasn't there for her like he was there for you and it don't matter it's better to know the real then to live in fake" he struggled and like that my dad and Asia was walking back to the car with pizza boxes in their hands she smiled
I looked at Armani and seen a heartless stare in her eyes I could tell what Vell told her kinda effect her but the Scorpio in her told her not to go for it.
