It's been about three week since I last seen my parents and I'm not gone lie I miss them a lot, but I'm glad I told them about the baby and got that off my chest.
Trouble and I sat in the hospital room waiting to find out the gender of the baby "so what do you guys want?" the nurse asked
"I want a girl and he wants a boy" I said
"Well congratulations dad it's a boy" she said I started crying while Trouble walked up to the screen as she explained how she knows it was a boy Trouble turned his attention towards me
"Why you crying shorty?" he asked
"Cause I wanted a girl" I said while crying
"Awwa don't worry you guys can have a girl in the future" she said Trouble smirked "I'm going to print these out and come back with some paperwork for your next appointment and prescriptions" she said before walking out I stopped crying
My phone started ringing I looked at it and it was my mom "it's my mama" I said
"Answer it I'm about to see if I could get something to drink" he said walking out I answered my phone
"Hello" I said
"Hey Mija" she said "how are you?" She asked
"I've been good. You and daddy?" I asked
"We're okay. I called you because I wanted to apologize for the other night at how I blew up" she said "I just wanted better for you and I shouldn't have pushed you away I should've been there" she finished
"It's cool mama after a few days of thinking I understood why you and daddy acted the way you did and I overreacted" I said
"I love you so much baby and so do your dad he just needs a little more time to soak all this in" she said Trouble walked back into the room
"I mean I am his baby girl I understand why he's still mad" I said
"Right and enough of are differences how is the baby?" She asked
"I'm at the hospital now I just found out it's a boy and everything is great with him" I said
"A boy wow I can't wait to meet him" she said
"I can come over and show you some pictures" I said
"Yes please" she said "okay Mija I'm going to make some to eat for your visit can't wait to see you I love you" she said
"I love you too, bye" I said before hanging up
"What she say?" He asked
"She just called to apologize for that night" I said he nodded and the nurse walked in with the paperwork and we left out "can you drop me off?" I asked he didn't move and he processed to drive away
He played music our whole way to our destination while I scrolled through Instagram we finally pulled up to my parent's house I got out of the car with Trouble following me we went into the house together "Mija is that you?" My mom asked
"Yes" I said walking through the house "I got Sakani with me"
"Oh hey" she said hugging him "are you hungry? I'm just going to make you a plate anyways" she said going into the refrigerator "so let me see the pictures of the baby" she said I handed them over
"Where Armani and Asia?" I asked
"House hunting" she said grabbing the pictures out of my hand "aww he got your whole face Sakani" she said smiling and crying I wiped her tears away "it's just tears of joy Mija" I smiled "so did y'all come up with a name?" She asked
