"I usually spend it with Sal and them" he said
"How about you can come over here with me then we can dip off to Sal house" I said

"Why don't you?" I asked
"I ain't tryna have yo folks cut up on me na" he said
"They won't my mom wants to meet you" I said
"And ya dad?" He asked
"He'll get around" he chuckled
"Yeah aight man I guess" I smirked
"It's not gone be hard I promise" he nodded "you spoke to Ember lately?" I asked
He jerked his head back with the stank face "fuck no" I shook my head
"Well ya girl rocking a little bump and she says you the pappy" I said
"That ratball ain't pregnant and especially by me" he said paying attention to the TV
"I guess but goodnight I got school in the morning" he sucked his teeth
"Man aight" he disconnected
"Drama queen" I laid back and drifted off to sleep
"LI IM NOT GONE TELL YEW AGAIN GET YA ASS UP NOW!" My dad yelled
"IM UP!" I shouted back he opened my room door
"Tryna be grown on the phone with that bwoy all night" he shook his head "ten minutes hurry up and get out my house" he said
"Jealous much" I said getting out of bed I went into the bathroom and did my morning routine and quickly got dressed and met up with my parents downstairs "hello mommy" I sung she chuckled
"Hello mija" she replied
"Wonderful morning I say" I said my dad twisted his face up
"Whets up with yew acting all fruity" he said I sucked my teeth
"So the guy I been telling you about mommy" she nodded eating her food "he's coming over for thanksgiving"
"That's great can't wait to meet him" she said with a smile
"Daddy" he shook his head "come on now this one thing for me"
"Li hell no gyal" I sighed I grabbed his car keys I heard my mom fussing at him and left out and hopped in the car and rushed to school not paying attention I heard a horn I looked in the rear view mirror and seen I got flicked
"I know you fucking lying" I said to myself an officer walked up and I raised the window down
"Where are you heading" the officer asked I looked them over she was so tiny so I was at first confused on if she a was a boy or girl
"To school" I said
"How old are you?" She asked
"Seventeen" I replied "uhm can I asked why I'm being pulled over?"
"Who car is this?"
"My dads" I said
"You were doing sixty in a forty license and insurance" she said I reached in my pocket and pulled out my license and got my dad insurance she started to walk back to her car
"Excuse me I'm so sorry" I stopped her in her tracks and started crying "a lot been going on lately with me filling out college application, school tests and my parents breathing down the back of my neck oh no please don't take the car I'll take a ticket my dad is gone kill me" I said
"I'll see hold tight" she said walking away I watched as she got into her car
"And scene" I said to myself wiping my tears away I sat and wait for about ten minutes she came back to the car I dropped my head down
"Aight this what I'm going to do is give you a warning and please don't speed" she said
"Thank you have an blessed day" I said she nodded I waited til she pulled off and flew the rest of the way to school
"Wassup hoe" Kash said walking up to me
"What it do slut" I said "bro my dad is stressing me the fuck out" I sai
"What he do now?" She asked
"Okay so me and Trouble spending thanksgiving together at my place" Kash interrupted
"Hold on na bitch we always spend thanksgiving together that's what my grandma like that's the only time she get out of her bed to spend time with us" she said
"Damn hoe hold" I said "now back to what I was saying we gone go to my house for a second then we shooting right over to ya spot" I finished
"Oh okay" she shrugged "but ya daddy not having that?" She asked
"He don't have no choice" I looked around for a answer "it's just I know he gone act ignorant" I said with the stank face the bell rang
"Li you gotta understand where he coming from you his only daughter so he feels like he gotta protect you from these fuckboys he a nigga so he know what be on niggas minds shit take yo Uncle for instinct he just want the best for you don't be hard on him" she said
"You right but shit I do gotta make fuck up sometimes shit what didn't goes as plan for him might work for me" I said
"Right but when he meet Trouble he gone be cool cause one thing about Trouble is he a smooth motherfucka I can tell you that" she said as we walked in the class
"And what's that supposed to mean?" I asked curious
"You gone see on thanksgiving" she smirked
