FIFTY EIGHT

"This shit smell good don't it" Trouble asked me as he fried some chicken. I sat at the island using one arm to support my head as I leaned on it. Baby Sakani was wide awake looking between us.

"Yeah, let try a piece though" I said he looked at me then his eyes roamed above me, I looked back to see what he was looking at. "Mhmm" I smirked

"Oh, hey y'all" Dahja said fixing her clothes

"That's why you wanted to watch the baby all night" I chuckled and looked at Trouble "they funny as hell" Sal came and stood next to me.

"Aye wasn't nobody complaining when y'all was loud as hell last night" he said I chuckled

"Aye Li, you got something I can slip on real quick. Till I go home later?" I got up with her on my tail. I searched through my closet "can you fit half of that stuff?"

"No" I looked back at her "You can have them if you want them?"

"Thank you!" I picked her out something and she left out the room with me behind her and she went into the bathroom. I went down the stairs

Sal and Trouble was talking "what y'all talking about?"

"Shit" Trouble replied "ain't yo people coming out here for Thanksgiving?" He asked

"Yeah, my daddy found this big ass Airbnb" I said grabbing a piece of chicken "do you remember last thanksgiving?" He shook his head "at least this year will be different since you and my daddy cool now" Sal bursted out laughing

"Yo pops be tweakin' we ain't cool" he said

"Since when?"

"Nigga never we just be handling business" he bit a piece of my chicken "he be putting on a front in front of you."

"On god" Sal chimed in as Dahja came down and sat beside him

"Yeah, Sal, what happened to Rachel?" I asked being messy he sucked his teeth "anyways" I gave Trouble my attention baby Sakani started laughing

"He messy just like his damn mama" Sal said I laughed.

We sat around talking and joking, until Trouble got finish cooking. We all ate and played a game of charade just to past by time. We later separated and went to our rooms. I took my sling off as Trouble, laid baby Sakani in the middle of the bed. I stripped out of my clothes and got in bed and watched Trouble, make a baby bottle for the baby. He got into bed and picked up baby Sakani and began to feed him.

"Y'all ugly" I giggled

He sucked his teeth "you just mad you pushed out my twin" he said I rolled my eyes playfully

"Whatever nigga" he chuckled "I miss Hunter" I said

"Yeah, I miss my lil nigga too" he pulled his brand new phone out "he walking now" he went through his phone and showed me a video

"Awwa Sakani look at your brother walking" I looked at Trouble "when you gone get him?"

"Thanksgiving" he said I nodded. Baby Sakani finished his bottle and I grabbed him from Trouble and burped him. Trouble laid back "I know you and Ember ain't cool, but I want my little niggas to be close" he said

"Yeah I agree" baby Sakani burped I laid him back in the middle of us. I kissed his cheek and Trouble's "goodnight" I turned my lamp off and laid down.

"Cool on now you gotta chill with all that bullshit" I heard Trouble say. I shot my eyes opened and seen him seating on the edge of the bed on the phone "you gone either cop or not. I ain't holding no gun to yo head" he said I stayed in my spot and looked around and seen the room lit up from the sun beaming from the window. Baby Sakani was sleep as usual. "Nah, nigga ion give a fuck about what you and he had going. I said what I said nigga" he continued "I ain't gone lose no sleep" he hung up and thrown his phone on the bed he turned around. I closed my eyes.
