THANKSGIVING PT. TWO

Trouble and I walked into the kitchen he looked at all the food licking his lip "we might be Mexican but our dad is still black" my mom said everybody laughed

"No ma'am it's this girl woke me up early and let me starve" he said my aunt bumped into me

"To keep a man is to keep his stomach full" she whispered to me

"He eat great everyday" I said

"Can we hurry this shit up" my dad said

"Excuse me not before I say my grace" my grandmother said he sighed

My granddad graced the food and everybody dug in I grabbed Trouble a plate and he followed me around telling me what he want on his plate "where yo room at?" He asked as I was making my plate after I finished I had him follow me to the third floor to my room

I turned the light on and we sat on my bed "so how do you feel about my family?" I asked

"Ya moms and aunt cool but yo daddy man dude is a problem" I chuckled

"Yeah I know but he gone come around" I said

"Shit why you think that" he asked with a serious face

I shrugged "he just gone have to you always gone be around" I said he smirked

"Is that right?" He asked I nodded he looked at his phone "let's eat so we can shoot over to Sal and em spot" I nodded and we dug into our food.

We finally finished and we to throw our plates away "aight y'all we about to go over his family house"

"Okay be safe guys" my mom said

"Thank y'all for welcoming me into your home" Trouble said

"No problem honey your always welcomed" my mom said

"No the fuck he ain't" my dad said I rolled my eyes and we handle to the door

"Ya pops funny as fuck" he said laughing we hopped in his car and he took off we sat in silence the whole ride "you was all in that phone who got yo attention" I sucked my teeth

"Shut up" I said as we pulled up to the house we hopped out and he locked the doors behind us "dang they house packed" I said he chuckled

"Yeah all they family comes on the holidays" he said

"I never had a big family" I said

"Yeah me neither" he opened the door for me "until I met Sal everybody here treats me with love" I thanked him and walked in everybody greeted him

"Wassup nephew" some older man walked up and dapped Trouble up "I see you" he said tryna whispered to him

"Aight now Unk don't get on that bullshit" he said while chuckling the older man raised his hands like he was surrendering. Trouble walked me around the house and introduced me to everybody "I just gone go speak to my nana and we can fix our plates and dip" he said

"We can chill here for a minute" he nodded and began to walk away til I grabbed his arm "can I meet her" he grabbed my hand and walked into the kitchen

"Hey nana" he wrapping his arm around her while she was cooking, she turned around and smiled at his site he leaned over and kissed her cheek

"Hey baby I thought you wasn't gone show up I was gone grabbed that switch and roll around the whole Chicago looking for you" I chuckled she shot her attention to me

"This my girl Li" he said "I met her through Kashley" she smiled

"Hey Li I'm nana Dolly" she said I walked up and hugged her
