Ch.18 - When Your Soulmate Talks or Thinks About You, You Sneeze
"Wow! Kaminari-kun was right when he said today was a good day to go." Uraraka beamed, enjoying another mild day with some bright sunshine as she nearly bounced down the path with her companions.
With the good weather and the fact that a number of the girls fancied having lunch out together since they'd been neglecting girl time recently thanks to how difficult their schoolwork had become, it was the perfect opportunity. Plus... if bringing Kaminari back some treats would make him happy, then this was well worth the trouble. The dorms hadn't been the same without his chipper mood to lift the spirits of his friends.
"Do you really think Baku-chan has a crush?" Tsuyu asked, tilting her head slightly in wonder at the possibility.
"It doesn't seem like him." Giving a light shrug, Jirou watched as they reached the final corner on their walk before they'd be able to see the happy place of her classmate. "But I guess anything's possible."
"I wonder what kind of person he likes!" And Tooru's wonder quickly became that of the class. They knew from Kaminari that the maid he was interested in was the one named Amelia. Still, his request to them that morning had been... nearly as unusual as the fact he was awake at a reasonable time.
There were brief guesses exchanged. Was she grouchy with a temper to match his, or sweet and kind? Maybe she was really amazing, like an idol or something! If she was working at a maid café, they decided, then she was probably reasonably patient and resistant to tricky customers.
Eventually the front of their destination appeared to them and there were cries of joy from a few of the girls as Mina and Tooru linked hands and bounced up and down, grinning brightly and yelling about how cute it was before they ran ahead of their friends and examined a little sign by the door listing some of their offers and best treats.
"Hey! This place does look amazing! C'mon! Let's go!" And that was that.
Two pairs of blue eyes and a pair of violet eyes looked up at the large group before the small ravenette bowed and greeted them. "Welcome. A group of..."
Chiyo paused, counting, and Yaoyorozu gave a gentle smile. "There's six of us."
"A party of six. Right this way." The maid dipped her head and one look at another maid had the white haired female nudging a few tables together to make a space large enough for them all. "Who would you like to serve you today, mistresses?"
They all exchanged looks and a dazzling smile appeared beside their current helper who took her leave as they were in more than capable hands.
"Ah, welcome to Maid-dere!" Tsukki beamed. "Today we have Amelia, Sky and myself serving, and you're welcome to ask for Luca or Naivis who're our charming butlers out back. Oh! I'm Tsukki! It's lovely to meet you, mistresses!"
The girls exchanged looks and smiled, knowing that they were all curious and there was only one true option. "Could Amelia-chan serve us, kero?" Tsuyu offered up and Tsukki clapped her hands together, noting that she was an excellent choice before bustling off to clear another table and tell the redhead that she had customers to serve.

It was an effort to remember why he was currently stood between Bakugou and the door out of the dorms and remember why, exactly, he needed to stay there and convince his volatile rival not to leave.
The ash blonde sketched a brow and gave a low sneer, as though he wasn't even worth the words it would take to ask why he was acting like a stupid blockade. Midoriya knew that an answer was being demanded.
