I came into work and the next thing you know, everything is back to normal. Like, I don't hear my name coming out of people's mouths or pointing at me instead it is just a peaceful atmosphere.
"Hey, Elena!"I turn to Jakob, who's waving at me with a smile on his face. I do the same to him but inside, I am feeling uncomfortable like what on earth is going on? I shake off the thought away and walk inside the department, as I take a look around, I realised that Kianna is not there.
She's probably running late, I think.
An hour later,I turn around to face the workspace where Kianna is usually at but she's not there. As if on cue, a guy walks over to me and he looks in the same direction as to where her workspace is.
"It's her day off today."He states and walks off, maybe I should have also considered that.
Since Kianna is not here to give me another task to do, I turn on the computer and I start to arrange my files on my computer drive because I can't find anything work-related to do. By the time it is lunch break, I leave the building and go to the same cafe that Sylvaine and I came to, thus I sit down on a chair and take my phone out to read a manga to waste time before Sylvaine arrives here. At that moment, a waiter comes to me and request If I want to order now.
"Not yet, but thanks though I'm waiting for my friend."He nods and leaves. After that, a notification pops up on my phone as I'm reading and it is Sebastian.

Because of this, he will assume that I am rude from the emoji that I sent to him, however, it is too late to delete the message because he has already seen it and not blocked me yet so I guess there's no need for me not worry too much. "Erm, this is my friend, Sylvaine from college."I point to her.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kianna but you can call me Kia."She extends her hand out, putting a flirty smile on her face, and at that Michela blushes . I watch the exchange between them and I cringe.
