Elena's pov

"Of course, what kind of game?"

"Is it okay with you if we just play 21  questions?"

I ask him.

He nods.

"All right, who wants to go first?"

"But, I can't think of a question."

He groans.

I giggle.

"All right, I'll go first."

I take a look around and think of a
suitable question.

"What is your favourite food?"

I cut him off just as he begins to
respond.

"Spanish food, by the way, does not
count."

He laughs and rolls his eyes.

"Lasagna, I suppose."

His response makes me laugh.

"I'm guessing you're saying that because I'm Italian."

"Okay, I'll be serious now. Korma curry with rice is my favourite dish."

"Oh my goodness, I agree. I adore the
flavour. It's something I could eat every day."

"What is your unusual food
combination?"

He inquires.

"Well, I like to dip cucumber in
mayonnaise."

There is a moment of silence. He looks at me and bursts out laughing.

"Are you serious,Elena?" He says,as he slowly stops laughing.

"See,I knew you would react like that." I cross my arms.

"It's okay,Elena.It was just unexpected."

"What's yours,Astian?"

"You want to know mine?" I nod.

He clears his throat before speaking.

"At one point,I had an obsession with cheese so, I would put cheese in rice . And it was mostly shredded  cheese or sometimes cheese slices."

I shake my head.

"And I thought mine was terrible."

I laugh.

"It is," he states flatly.

Dramatically, I exhale.

"Wow,Sebastián. I am extremely
offended."

We laugh as we stare at one another.

"How about your favourite pizza topping?"

He instantly asks.

"Guess."

I look him in the eyes.

"I'll definitely guess in one go." He asserts confidently.

"Oh, you're serious?"

He nods to my question.

I chuckle.

"Go ahead." I smirk.

"Pizza with king prawns?"

I give him a blank stare.

"Pizza with blue cheese?"

My head shakes.

"Oh, I see what you mean, eggplant pizza."

"Eggplant,really?"

"Yeah, because you like cucumber, you know-"

"Eww, you're revolting."

I'm laughing.

"But seriously, what exactly is it?"

"It's the traditional peperoni pizza."

"That's a good topping.But mine is
superior."

"What exactly is it?"

"Ham and pineapple."

"Astian, out of all the pizza toppings?"

"Why not? You should give it a shot."

"I didn't like it the first time I tried it."

"Then you're missing out."

"Nope. It's all good with me."

Sebastián and I talk about how we were in school and share stories about places we've visited. I look at my watch to check the time and realise it is getting late, so we leave the bar to go to his car.

Sebastián starts the car and drives away from the parking lot, onto the main road, and towards Elena's house. He wonders if Elena is okay because she hasn't said anything since entering the vehicle, so he turns to her and takes notice that she has fallen asleep.

He smiles and adjusts his gaze to the road. Sebastián pulls into her driveway and comes to a complete stop.He turns to face her and gently shakes her shoulder, causing her to awaken.
She yawns, stretching her arms, puzzled, and turning to face Sebastián.

"Oh no, I didn't intend to sleep. Please accept my apologies."

"Oh, it's no problem, Elena."

She looks at him, sceptical.

"Are you certain?"

"Yes, without a doubt."

"All right then."

"Kiss goodnight?" She asks, her eyes wide with anticipation.

He laughs.

"Sure."

He moves in closer and begins to kiss her. Her lips against his were soft, almost silken. As they breathed each other in, he could feel the soft tickle of her breath beneath his nose, fingers carding through her hair.

She smiles as she leans back from the kiss.

"Wow." She states.

"You can say that again." He says.

She chuckles.

"I have to leave now, Astian.Have a wonderful night."

"And you as well."

She grabs her bag and exits the vehicle.
Elena walks to the front door, inserts her key, and turns it to open it.
She turns around to see Sebastián still there.

He waves at her, and she reciprocates, and they continue to do so until he exits the driveway. She walks into the house and notices her aunties looking at her with amusement on their faces.

"What?"

"What exactly happened?"

"What exactly do you mean?"
Innocently, I say.

"We saw what you were doing, Elena,"
I shrug.

"Eh,so?"I giggle.

Both of my aunties start asking questions, and after what seemed like a forever, I go up the stairs to my bedroom, change into my nightgown, and go to the bathroom to do my night routine before heading to bed.
