Peters pov

I'm woken up by the loud ringing of the bell signaling the beginning of school, did i seriously just fall asleep in an empty classroom? No... I didn't, we had a decathlon meeting

I jump up and see Ned and Mj standing over me

"Come on loser" Mj says grabbing my arm and pulling me out of class while Ned fills me in on what I missed, it's just boring stuff like when our next competitions are and where we're going but I doubt my dad will let me go after what happened last time i had a field trip

I walk into my home room and see Wanda sitting in her usual chair and I sit down beside her

"Hey, how was decathlon?" She asks and smiles at me

"I wouldn't know" she looks at me confused "I fell asleep and didn't wake up until the bell went off"

She laughs at me and says "I should've known that would happen after you stayed out until 3 this morning on patrol"

"Sorry about that again, Karen never told me the time and I got distracted by the goblin" I whisper so only she can hear and her eyes widen

"You should have told me that" she says worriedly "are you ok? Is he still out there?"

I smile at her and say "I'm fine and Shield got him last night" she smiles at me and nods

"Okay class" Mr Harrington says as he enters the class "we have some very exciting news today, on Friday we are going on a field trip"

The whole class perks up at this, we don't usually go on field trips on random Fridays it's usually before a school break or on special occasion

"Where are we going?" Harry asks and I look over at him, he probably doesn't know that his dad is in shield custody, he could just thinks he wasn't there for breakfast or something

"We are going to" he points at Ned who does a drumroll with two pencils "the Avengers Compound" the whole class start shouting and screaming apart from Wanda, Mj, Harry and me

Me and Wanda look at each other with the same "kill me now" look

The rest of the Avengers can't know about this Wanda says to me through my mind

I'm sure they already know I reply and she groans and slams her head onto her table

"Ms Maximoff, are you alright?" Mr Harrington asks and she groans

"She's fine" I say and Mr Harrington nods his head

"She's probably worried that her lie about knowing Spiderman will come out" Flash says and both me and Harry quickly look at him
