When Peter is a guest speaker at Harleys high school he decides to mess with Harleys class a bit

Harleys pov

"Harley" my friend Jackson says and runs up to me "you'll never believe who's the guest speaker here this Friday"

"Who is it?" I ask as I get my chemistry book from my locker

"Well I don't know exactly" Jackson says and I roll my eyes but I can't stop but smile at how excited my friend is "but people think it might be Peter Stark!"

I drop my book but catch it before it lands on the ground

"Peter Stark? As in Tony Starks son?" I ask and feel my face break into a smile at the idea of my boyfriend being in Tennessee for the first time

"Yeah! I'm almost certain it's him" he says excitedly and then gasps "have you met him before? You work there during the summer like every year, right?"

"Yeah.." i say slowly, should I tell him since he's my best friend? But how would I say that? "Peter and I are really close actually" I say and Jackson's mouth drops

"Seriously man?" He asks and I nod but can't stop blushing

"You know the way I'm gay?" I ask and Jackson nods then his eyes widen

"Did you hook up with a Stark!" He almost shouts and I cringe

"No!" I shout and cover his mouth as quick as I can "We didn't hook up. Peter and I have been dating for about 2 years now"

Jackson shakes his head and pulls his head away from my hand "you're kidding" he says excitedly

"No" I say  and feel my face heating up "I'm telling the truth"

"This is crazy" Jackson says but u can tell he's excited for me "I can't believe I didn't know"

"I'm so sorry I didn't tell you, the only people who know are the people in New York and my family" I say and his eyes widen

"Does this mean you know the avengers?" I nod my head, I don't really need to tell him about being Iron Lad, that'd reveal peters identity as Spider-Man too

Time skip

I wake up a bit late Friday morning but am out the door quick enough to catch my bus. I can't be late for the first time I see my boyfriend in 6 months

Well I don't know for sure if it's him, every time I brought it up to him he'd change the sentence but I did see a hint of a smile when we were on video call and I mentioned it

I walk into the auditorium and sit down next to Jackson who's beaming at me excitedly

"I actually can't wait to meet your boyfriend" he says and I smile, I like being able to talk to him about stuff like this

"I really hope it is him" I say "I miss him so much"

My teacher walks onto stage and he looks like he's gonna burst with excitement and says

"Hey *schools name because I'm too tired to come up with one* your guest speaker is backstage right now and I'm very excited to announce who it is but firstly I'm going to talk to you a bit about Stark Industries" there's an audible groan from the crowd and the teacher smiles "I'm just kidding, that's what Peter here is to do"

I almost start to cry when I see Peter walk onto the stage and I can see him searching the crowd for me, when he sees me he smiles and mouths 'hey you'

I just want to go up there and kiss him but that would probably be frowned upon

"Hello" Peter says and I smile even wider than I already was "my name is Peter Stark and I'm gonna talk to you about Stark industries"

Peter talks about his job for a bit and does mention a bit of what's it like living with the avengers when two excited Freshmen ask him (even though it's not a Q&A)

When the speech is over Peter says that he's going to be staying at the school a bit longer and walks off the stage

As soon as he gets backstage I jump out of my chair and tell a teacher I'm heading to the bathroom

Before I realise it though the rest of the school has walked into the hallway so I can't even sneak off to meet Peter

Every stands around in the hall waiting for Peter to come out of the stage and I sink back against the lockers and Jackson looks at me weirdly

The stage doors open and Peter walks out, he looks startled by all the people staring at him and looks over towards me

He isn't used to this many people treating him differently since at the tower everyone knows him and in school people have gotten used to him

Peters face slips into a mischievous grin and I laugh a bit knowing what's coming, I stand up straighter and Peter makes a show of seeing me

"Yo Harley, bro, what's good?!" He shouts over at me and Jackson looks confused

"I'm all good man" I say and bro hug Peter "you look good"

"Nah man, you look hot" Peter says with a grin "no homo though"

The whole hall looks confused and are whispering about how they didn't know we knew each other

"Sike!" Peter shouts and kisses me in front of my whole school

The hallway erupts in shouts of "oh my god" and "what!" some people were just cheering for us

Peter and I were laughing and Jackson looked stunned but he laughed too

Time skip

Peter spent the rest of the weekend with me and it was great

Everyone knows we're dating now and I'm officially on famous birthdays which is super exciting

All in all it's been a great week

Sorry I've been gone a while also I had no idea how to end this one shot ahaha
