This morning I was late waking up, and I was in peters room not mine when I woke up so I had a very limited option for clothes

in my rush i ended up picking my low rise green cargos and a black stark industries zippy hoodie over a white crop top, I tied my hair in a messy braid and ran out the door for school

Peter and the rest of the avengers had already been gone to work and training by the time i was up so I was very late for school

I'm in my last year of high school and Peter is already working in stark industries, everyone knows that he is Tony's son and they have since he was born

I moved here after the battle of sokovia and decided then that I wanted to live a normal school life so my now mom Natasha Romanoff sent me to midtown tech

As I get off the bus I take to school to seem normal i hear the bell ring for school and sprint inside barely making it in time

As I fall into my seat in my home room my best friend Lexi laughs at me

"How are you always late?" She asks and I smirk at her and lean in to whisper

"I'm blaming my boyfriend" i say playing with the necklace he bought me that's hanging around my neck

She shakes her head giggling obviously getting what I'm saying

I see Jade glare at me, she's my years mean girl who thinks she's better than everyone, she overheard me talking about Peter once and since her boyfriend was after breaking up with her she uses Peter against me saying she doesn't believe he exists

"Stop lying Wanda, there's no way a boy would ever want to date you"

I ignore her and talk to lexi about her life and finally the teacher walks into the class

"As you know class, we're going on a field trip today" he says and I look confusedly at lexi who nods making a face that says 'you should know this'

I shrug and say in her head "i guess I forgot" then panic because i remember she doesn't know about my powers

"Did you say something?" She asks looking confused and I shake my head

"No" I say making the most innocent confused face ever, she looks around seeing if anyone else did and then gives up shrugging her shoulders

"Class we are going to be late if we don't get on the bus now" mr Phelps says and we all get up out of our seats walking towards the bus

"Where are we going?" I ask Lexi who laughs

"How do you not know he literally told us last week" she says "you were probably asleep or something, we're going to stark industries"

"WHAT" I shout in horror but it must have come across as excitement to Lexi because she just smiles excitedly

"I knowww" she squeals "I hope I can meet quicksilver, he is gorgeous isnt he"

My face scrunched up in disgust and she looks at me like come on I know you know he's gorgeous but like I mean ew

"Lexi I have a boyfriend" I say and she rolls her eyes

"I don't" she shrugs and laughs "I'm going to keep having unrealistic crushes, like quicksilver and Drew Starkey until the day I day"
