Birthday

Today is Peter Parker and also my birthday! Sorry if it's terrible I had to rush to get it done before my family broke into my room at 12 last night to wish me happy birthday, my brother was literally screaming a countdown from ten from the other side of the house

Peters pov

I wake up at 8am on August 10th. It's my birthday, I am finally 16, but really it feels like I have been for a while with how long I've been thinking about today

I was supposed to go visit Harley, he's my online friend from Tennessee but really I feel like he's more than that

Anyway Harley had to cancel last minute, said it was some emergency that an old friend needed help with

I get up and go to the kitchen expecting the usual special birthday pancakes and bacon made by the amazing cooks that are Bucky Barnes and Yelena Belova

But when I get to the kitchen I find dad just sitting at the island with a cup of coffee for himself and reading a copy of the daily bugle newspaper open in front of hum

"You know that's all fake news" I say and dad nods "don't believe anything that J Jonah Jameson says about me alright?"

"Wouldn't dream of it son" dad still hasn't looked up from the newspaper since I came into the room

"Are you forgetting anything?" I ask him "what day is it?" Dad looks to the front of the newspaper with a confused face

"Tuesday... no I don't think so" he goes back to looking at the newspaper

"Well I'm gonna be meeting MJ, Harry, Michelle and Ned now so I'll see you later then" I say sadly and dad nods

I text Harley good morning but he doesn't respond straight (gay) away, that's weird he usually would snap back as soon as I text him maybe he's busy

Time skip

"Maybe he's planning you a surprise party" Mary Jane says and then gets a text on her phone, checks it, her eyes widen and the she looks at me with a sweet smile "actually he probably just forgot"

I look at her a bit confused, the waitress comes over and hands us all cups of coffee

"Well happy birthday anyway mate" Harry said putting down his phone and picking up his coffee "we'll spend the day with you and I know it's awful you can't go see your boyfriend but I'm sure you will reschedule and see each other sooner than you expect

"Yeah Peter we'll spend the day with you" Ned says while Michelle nods and says "yeah loser"

We spend the whole day together and go to the cinema, we get McDonald's and go sit in Central Park under our usual tree to eat it

All in all it's a pretty great birthday spent with my best friends but then I remember I have to go home and it'll be just like any normal day

We decide to all go back to the tower and watch a film so that's where we're going now, I walk near the back of the group with MJ and we talk about films mainly Star Wars so Ned joins in too

When we get back to the tower I'm not greeted by Edith, Friday, Jarvis or Karen which is odd because usually I'm bombarded by all of them as soon as I get into the lobby

We go up the private elevator and stop on tue avengers level Instead of my family's which is also weird because I specifically asked Jarvis to bring us to my room

My friends are all smiling at me weird as I step out of the elevator into the oddly dark room

"Surprise!" I hear and all the avengers even the ones that don't live in the tower jump out, Oh my Thor it's Thor and Loki. Wait is that the guardians of the galaxy! Shuri is here too!

I see everyone i love is here except of course Harley because how would have dad even found out about him

"Hey Darlin'" I hear and my heart skips a beat, he couldn't have

I turn around and see Harley standing right there beside my dad

"Oh my Thor" I say and jump into Harleys arms he just laughs at me and hugs me back "how did you get here?"

Harley looks at my dad and so do I, he looks really confused. Harley knew about my dad and I know my dad met Harley years ago but we never told him about us being friends

"You two know each other?" Dad asks and we both nod

"Your dad mentioned it was his sons birthday so I asked to come" Harley says and I laugh and nod

"We're online friends" I say to dad who nods and walks over to Pepper shaking his head

I see my friends are all mingling so me and Harley go sit at the bar

"How was your flight?" I ask Harley who nods and says it was ok

"Is it weird that this is the first time we've met but it feels like I've missed you so much" Harley says and I laugh and nod

"Yeah I've missed you too" I laugh "I really like you" I say and then look up from my drink at him

"I like you too" Harley says and leans in to kiss me

Time skip

After the party is over Harley, MJ, Michelle, Harry, Ned and I stay up and watch Star Wars The Clone Wars and then we all fall asleep me and Harley in each other's arms

Its my birthday!! August 10th, it's both mine and Peter Parker's birthday today which I find pretty cool since he's been my comfort character since before I can remember
