Your arms sprawl around when you nearly trip over the base of your shoes. The wind picking up your hair, breathing shallow as you pound into the pavement. Head moving left and right as you find another way out of your predicament.

"Come back here!" Gruff yells come from behind.

Chancing a peek, you catch a tentacle aiming for your neck and toss yourself to the side. Rolling to a stop, you look up and find an indent in the wall where you once were. With wide eyes, you picked yourself up and controlled the red stream in your legs to a burning pace allowing you to gain speed.

How did they know?!

Gritting your teeth, you turned down another road with sights you had yet to see in the city. You knew you'd probably spend hours trying to find your way back home after this, but to create that reality, you first have to get away.

Noticing a wall at the end of this alley, you near the last two exits by it to flee. Swiftly, you gather blood in your hand and turn, aiming around the corner and shooting it. Taking the right turn, you hear fabric tear, a harsh grunt following. The ground begins rumbling breaking your balance.

Stumbling towards it regardless, the road rises up through a large dusty cloud and blocks your path. Even while coughing through the cloud of dirt could you feel your heart drop to your ass.

I

They're going to trap you.

I have to get away!

Shaking off the dust you run to the other exit and slam face-first into another wall of hard earth.

"No!"

You slam your fists against the wall to no avail. Now, your breathing picks up as tears prick your eyes.

I was so close..!

"You can't run any longer so," a voice starts, approaching past the fading cloud of dirt that only continues to sting your lungs, "why don't you just give up already and come back home?"

Cracking your fingers, sizzling blood seeps through the secretions in your gloves. You press your steaming hand against the wall who could only melt away. Not once does your gaze leave his.

"I can still run." You said tears that never spilled returning to help you focus.

Frowning, a sigh spilled from his lips, "no, you can't."

The dark green coat he wore fluttered around, the ground rumbling once more before booms echoed in your ears. Several walls rose up in unison with the earth groaning against the blocked exits. You knew you wouldn't be able to melt through walls as thick as these without getting attacked from behind.

Stomping one foot against the road, he punches his hand. Two small golems rise from the ground in sync with his arms.

"It's time you come back to father's embrace."

His hand rises and flicks forward, the golems stomping towards you at a steady pace.

With every step they take, both your bones and the building's glass rattle in a warning. Taking in a deep breath, you analyzed your surroundings to find the other two villains missing.
