With a bot that resembled more of a camera with limbs to the right of the small 50-meter track, feet lifted once a gunshot rang through the air. Iida zoomed by in a blur where you were left with raised brows as a high pitched voice concluded his score to be 3.04 seconds. Smoke rose from the engine in his calves as a girl on all fours jumped her way passed the finish line.

"5.58 seconds," it spoke once more.

You quietly stared in awe at his speed and the way the girl had finished. The way she went about the test caught your attention.

What could her quirk be? Obviously her choice of jumping to the end had something to do with it. Her tongue stuck out from her mouth while she walked to the side as you analyzed her on the sidelines.

Her tongue must've been pretty long if it could hang from her mouth as it did. She slouched and hung her arms, the first thing you could think of while looking at her and her jumping ability was a frog.

But that's probably too simple-

"Ochako, (L/n)," Blinking out of your trance, you turned to your teacher, "You're up next," Mr. Aizawa spoke up.

Glancing at Ochako, you both walked up to the track. Catching her eyes, you smiled at each other and readied yourselves to race. While she tapped on her clothing you did a little stretch to get your blood flowing. Positioning your feet on the race ramp, you drew in a steady breath.

Blood began to rush through your legs as air-filled your lungs, warming them up. Little by little, you increased the speed as Ochako began to ready herself beside you. Before you could go any farther, you jolted forwards, a tight feeling invading your chest making your eyes widen.

What the?

In your peripherals, you could see Ochako look at you. For some reason, you felt the strong urge to adjust your quirk to the smallest amount of use.

Like you did when your quirk went out of control.

Your teeth found your lip as you decided to slow the blood rushing through your legs. Better to be safe than sorry, after all.

Meeting her round brown eyes, you smiled. "Good luck!" You whispered in an attempt to disarm her.

Her expression lifted at that where she returned the words. Just then, the robot piped up causing you both to turn ahead.

"Get set," it said, through a high pitched voice as you lifted your hips and stared hard towards the finish line.

When the artificial gunshot made it through your ears, you sprinted to the finish line where you could almost see things slow. Hearing a chirp from your left, you turned from your static view of your classmates to stare in shock when you found yourself standing a bit beyond the end, legs heated from within.

"3.56 seconds." It piped up.

The corners of your mouth turned up.

Yes! That's 10 seconds more than last time!

Grinning widely at your small accomplishment, you turned around in time to hear the bot chirp again.

"7.15 seconds."

Ochako stood huffing with a smile where you could only assume she had accomplished a new goal too. Holding a hand up, she laughed breathlessly and high fived you, afterward moving for the next pair.

As the rest made their way through the dash, you watched all the creative ways they used their quirks in awe. You even saw the blonde with a large belt over his stomach whom you saw at the entrance exam.
