The first thing you guys saw was the fast glasses boy from the entrance exam yelling at some spiky-haired blonde. Izuku flinched, mood seemingly soured by the sight of them.
"Don't put your feet on the desk!" Glasses yelled.
"Huh?" The blonde said, an edge to his voice and a tilt of his head.
Loud. How annoying. What did we just walk in on?
Said blonde had his white shoes propped up on a desk, grinning as the glasses guy points to his shoes, as he spoke once more, "Don't you think that's rude to the U.A. upperclassmen and the people who made the desk?" His question seemed neutral enough but his voice was pretty loud as he spoke.
Although I noticed from the entrance exam, this guy seems pretty earnest..and straightforward...
"Nope." You were brought out of your thoughts by the blondes near growl as he spoke. "What junior high did you go to, you side character?"
His voice made the guys eyes widen, almost gasping at his disrespect. You hadn't even stepped in and already you felt like a fool for even being nervous. Any impression you made now would probably be leagues better than the blonde kids so you didn't feel as worried as before Midoriya opened the door.
Looks like our class is gonna be loud. Well, look at the bright side..
....what was the bright side again? OH! At least there probably won't be a dull moment...
Midoriya kinda stood behind the door and hid from them. Remembering the way the glasses dude went off on him at the exam, you weren't surprised. Plus, the other guy seems to have a temper. It didn't seem like there was room to make a first impression with all their squabbling.
Standing there and watching the two made you question whether or not you should step in or shut the door. But that would make you the center of attention which you'd rather not be. Plus, Midoriya seems just as keen as you had been to stay standing in the sidelines of this whole thing. It's not any of your business, after all.
Wait, when has that ever stopped me?
Opening his mouth, he took in a breath and adjusted his expression, hand placed firmly on his heart before glasses spoke.
"I attended Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida." He said, free hand going to point with his entire hand towards the blonde.
You rose a brow at that.
Somei? Private Academy? That explains his formal speech.
"Somei? So you're a damn elite, huh?" The blonde said with a cocky look to him. "Looks like I'll have fun crushing you." He grinned smugly.
This guy sure is checking every delinquent speech and act box I can think of. At least be original, sheesh.
Sighing as they continued to bicker, you turned to your new friend who had been quietly watching it all unfold in what you could only assume was hope that they wouldn't notice him. That, or he just forgot what he was doing.
"Hey, Midoriya," you whispered to which he jumped in surprise before turning to you, "wanna go find our seats or something?"
Hearing this, his eyes widened, a light blush appearing on his cheeks before glancing from the two boys and back to you. His brows furrowed as he took in a breath looking more determined now.
"Yeah." Was all he said with a small nod.
You smiled and walked further in the classroom. He walked beside you as you looked around the room.
