Chapter 19|Where To Look?

Securing your other glove on, you extended your fingers, admiring the way the spikes gleamed beneath the fluorescent lighting. Jumping up and down, you turn this way and that to assure your utility belt stayed in place.

This is pretty snug. Good.

After you latch your respirator on, you turned to a mirror and smiled. Although, you couldn't see it.

Everything looks good. It's pretty simple but it'll be easier to upgrade with a clean base.

After cracking your fingers to make sure blood would leak, you glanced around and realized you were the last one in the changing room.

"Shit, I hope I'm not late!"

Running out the tunnel-like place, you noticed someone in a green suit backing up.

Are those...ears??

The more you caught up with them, the more you noticed the large ear-like things on top of their head. They were in a weird shape from what you could tell. Though it was hard with all their trembling and sporadic movements.

"Mine ended up being a skin-tight bodysuit.." Strolling up beside the guy, you turned your head away from them and noticed Ochako scratching her head and blushing behind her pink visor.

"It's embarrassing..." She continued.

"Whoa, your suit looks so cool Ochako! Especially your boots and visor." You chimed in, completely oblivious to what was going on.

Meeting your gaze, her eyes widened and a smile rose to her face.

"Yours looks good too! The color scheme really suits you." She said, looking you up and down.

"(Y-Y/n)?!" A meek voice piped up from beside you.

Wait a second, isn't that..

Turning back to him, you noticed his familiar green eyes peeking out from behind his mask, "Deku?"

"Alright, everyone gather around!" All Might called from afar making all your heads turn.

Everyone started to walk over to the hero and you guys followed along with them. From where you stood, you observed Deku's costume and noticed the teeth-like pattern on his visor. Was he going for an evil rabbit? But the tufts on his head...where have you seen them? Gazing back forward, you stared at all the other costumes everyone wore yet couldn't shake the thought.

When you turned to the ground and saw All Might's shadow trembling, you watched as even the tufts of blonde hair had their own shadow. As if they were an extension of his body.

An extension..tufts...? !!

As you walked forward you moved closer to Deku and whispered, "cool costume! It kinda reminds me of All Might!"

Hearing a squeak and a drag of feet, you gazed at your friend to see his shoulders tensed and eyes meeting the dirt. Grinning, you walked ahead and held in a giggle.

Spot on.

"Now, it's time for combat training!" All Might said.

"Sir!" Turning to your right, you see someone clad in a fully armored robotic suit who sounds like that glasses kid, Iida.

Keeping his hand raised, he spoke in a clear voice, "This is a battle center from the entrance exam, so will we be conducting urban battles again?"

"No," he rose up two tanned fingers, "we're going to move ahead two steps! Most of the time fighting villains takes place outside," he started to which you nodded along.
