A/N: So in this story, Jisoo and Chaeyoung are both 23 years old and Jennie and Lisa are both 21 years old. Btw, Chapter 1 started in the month of October.

Jennie's POV

I woke up early, as usual. Chaeyoung and Lisa are both sleeping. I wonder what time do their alarms ring. I went to the fridge and decided to make breakfast.

Woah! Woah! I have to impress Chae and Lisa with a breakfast. I internally grinned. I made kimchi fried rice since it's what I can make from the ingredients in the fridge.

"Hmmm... it smells good," Chaeyoung said.

"Thank you, please have a seat." I replied.

"You woke up early huh?"

"Yes, it's in my body clock. I decided to cook for you and Lisa since you guys are letting me stay here."

"No need, Jennie. We really just wanted to help you."

"Thanks so much to you and Lisa. I really thought my life was just a hopeless case."

"Don't think like that Jennie. As long as you are alive, there is always hope." Chaeyoung replied.

"Thank you. Eat now. I hope you'll like it."

"Uh yes! Haha I still have to go to work." She then started eating. "Hmmm! This is so good Jennie!"

"Really? You like it?"

"Yes! Who taught you the recipe?"

"I learned it through trial and error."

"Hmm. You can be great chef," Chaeyoung replied and went back to eating again.

"Good morning guys," Lisa said.

"Good morning Lisa!" Chaeyoung excitedly replied. Lisa looked at Chaeyoung and suddenly, she's awake.

"I cooked for you and Chae! Please try this"

"Oh, thank you."

"Lisa, I saw you last night you were studying?"

"Yes Jennie, why?"

"I was just curious about the course you are taking and what year you are in."

"I am taking Engineering and I'm on my third year." Lisa replied. "Woah! It's delicious! You made this Jennie?"

"Yeah I did." I then gave her my gummy smile.

"Chongah, you are right in taking Jennie here!" Lisa said as she give her a wide smile and two thumbs up.

Wait, I am the one who did the cooking. Why is she more enthusiastic when she complimented Chaeyoung? Does she like her? Woah, woah, woah, what a love story I am watching.

"Of course Lisa, I'm the best," Chaeyoung replied and laughed.

"You really are Chae!" Lisa then winked.

"Hey lovebirds, I'm here!" I jokingly said since they are now starting to flirt. They suddenly looked down to their plates and Lisa has a force-stopped smile.

"We're not lovebirds," Chaeyoung shyly said. "Okay, I'm going to work. Lisa don't be late to your classes and Jennie, please feel comfortable okay?"

"Yes mom!" Lisa joked. She received a hit on her shoulder.

"Okay Chaeyoung. Take care." Chaeyoung then left the room.

"Lisa?"

"Hmm?"

"What's Chaeyoung's work again?"

"Oh. Uh she works as a secretary."

Oh shoot! She is Kim Jisoo's secretary! My eyes widened. Why did I forget?! My Jisoo will never know of me. I pouted.

"Why Jennie?"

"Uh nothing. Good luck to your classes."

"Okay thanks."

Chaeyoung's POV

Last night I told Jennie that I am working as Kim Jisoo's secretary. I remember Jisoo telling me that she sometimes hires a cleaner for her house. Maybe I can recommend Jennie. I didn't tell Jennie last night since I'm not sure and I don't want to get her hopes up.

"Good morning Ms. Kim," I said and bowed to her.

"Good morning Chaeyoung, and I told you to call me Jisoo." She then laughed.

"Okay Jisoo. Here is your schedule for today." I said as I hand her the tablet.

"Thank you."

"And, Ms. Hwang wants to ask for an appointment with you. I told her I'll get back to her once you have decided."

"Okay Chaeng. Thank you." She then started on working with the papers.

"M-ms. Kim," I said. My voice was unusually high. Gosh. Why did I stutter? She looked back at me and saw me fidgeting my fingers and she chuckled.

"It's Jisoo to you, Chaeng," she replied. "Why? Please relax. It's okay."

"Jisoo.."

"Yes Chaeng?"

"I remember you told me to look for someone that will clean your house."

"Yes, the cleaner is great. I thank you for that."

"No, I mean.."

"Chaeng, no need to be nervous. Just get to the point." I then took a deep breath.

"Last night, I was walking to home. I saw a young lady who was sleeping on the streets and I took her to my flat. She told me that her parents left her and she was kicked out by her aunt. Her college education was stopped and she is looking for a job that she said doesn't require academic requirements. I just thought if you can hire her as a cleaner to your house."

"Great rapper you are Chaeng," she joked. "I'll think about it. Do you have her photo?"

"Uhm, no. I'll bring one tomorrow."

"Okay. I need to ask for a photo to see if she's trustworthy."

"Thank you so much Ms. Kim! It's a great help!"

"Ey! It's Jisoo."

"Thank you Jisoo!" I walked back to my desk and she started again with her papers. I wrote down in my notes to ask a photo with Jennie.

---- TIME SKIP ---

I just got home and saw Jennie.

"Hi Jennie!"

"Oh, hi back! Lisa is not home yet."

"Okay thanks."

"I already cooked us a dinner by the way."

"Aw! That's sweet of you Jennie."

"Thank you."

"Can I have a photo with you? You know, I'm glad to have a friend that cooks so good."

"Sure, let me fix myself first." She combed her hair and massaged her face.

"You look beautiful already Jennie. Come here." And she went near me and we took a photo.
