Chapter 16

Sunday went well for the two of them. They had talks but it was short since Jennie started to do her assignments and Jisoo decided to start her piece of work for the week.

Monday morning, Jisoo again woke up earlier than Jennie. Today is the start of something new. She woke up early to take a bath and make breakfast for the two of them. She is not avoiding Jennie anymore. She made the two of them bowl of oatmeal with blueberries and sliced bananas.

Jisoo ate and then left Jennie a note.

Morning Jennie!

Left breakfast for you. Take care to school and have a great week!

When Jennie woke up, she looked around and saw a bowl and a note beside. She scurried to the table with a huge grin on her face. She is feeling ecstatic – Jisoo is surely now not avoiding her, Jisoo is now back to the normal her, the caring Jisoo she knows. She sent Jisoo a text to let the woman know she's awake.

Good morning Jisoo! Thanks for the breakfast. Have a great week too!

After a few minutes, her phone beeped signalling a text.

You're welcome! See you this evening!

Jennie had again a huge grin on her face. Jisoo may also be looking forward for them to be together again. After breakfast, she took a bath and got ready for school.

Jisoo had something in her mind.

"Hey Chaeng!"

"Yeah Jis?"

"Would you like to have dinner with me again?"

"Oh sorry.. Lisa told me she would cook for me today. If your offer still stands tomorrow, I could probably go with you."

"Tomorrow it is then." Jisoo gave a grin which Chaeyoung chuckled at.

"Yeah yeah. It better be a great dinner or else that would be last."

"Understood ma'am." Jisoo saluted.

Few minutes, her phone received a text. One text from Jennie. She replied,

You're welcome! See you this evening!

When Jennie arrived at school, her professor were discussing with them binary numbers. She was shocked. It was the lesson she found confusing since her first college year.

She wasn't writing on her note since she doesn't even know what to write. She has not even a drop of an idea.

"Hey! Jennie right?" A man beside her said with a smile.

"Y-yes I am." Jennie awkwardly replied.

"Just copy whatever you can and I'll teach it to you after class, okay?"

Jennie nodded as a response. She really has no idea with the lesson and the man beside her is giving an offer. "Thank you."

"You're welcome. I'm Jongin, by the way. But people call me Kai too."
