Jisoo was taken aback from Jennie's brave question. It's not like she didn't expect this to happen. She did, but it felt different when it came directly from Jennie. She felt weak but managed to put back her cutlery to the plate.

Jennie swore she saw the wave of hurt in Jisoo's face. It passed on her in just the blink of an eye and was suddenly back to her normal face. Jennie felt bad for asking the question. She already regrets it and want to return the time from just 30 seconds ago where she could've just made up a different question.

Jisoo forced a laugh to ease Jennie's expression. Jennie was just curious said she, so why would Jisoo be mad? She wasn't mad.

"I'm sorry Jennie if you thought of it that way. That's what I would've thought too." Jisoo paused for a moment to lift her hand and used them to express herself. "Listen... that is not my intention. I'm not sure if you have heard of my company, but we sponsor some college students. I just decided to help you personally since Chaeyoung brought your matter to me. I don't know if you are curious about this but the reason that I wanted to help you is because I see myself in you." Jisoo said all these things while looking directly at Jennie's eyes to convey her sincerity.

See herself in me? Jennie thought. She wanted to ask Jisoo what's in her that she sees herself in Jennie but Jisoo already stood up.

"I'll wash the dishes." Jisoo said having no emotions on her face.

"No, I'll do this Jisoo." Jennie replied still sitting on the chair. She wants to cry in front of Jisoo and say sorry already because she might have offended the older girl.

"If you say so." With that, Jisoo turned her heels and went upstairs, leaving Jennie alone. She tried to calm herself to not walk fast since Jennie might think she's mad.

----------------------

Jennie had a heavy heart while washing the dishes. She hurriedly finished and went straight to her room. Her chest feels heavy and tight. She noticed Jisoo's uneasiness when she stood up.

Noooo!! She is wailing in her mind. It's just three days and my crush hates me now! How would we get married and have kids and grow old together?!?! Waaahhhh!!

She shouldn't have asked that question. Jisoo wasn't even invading her personal space! How could've she not thought about that. Now, how would she make her crush fall for her when she embarrassed herself at their first encounter and she also offended her? The universe is not with her this time.

This is just Monday – three days with her honey bunch – and there, she offended her crush already.

Jisoo's POV

Great Jisoo! Great! You scared the woman! You shouldn't have gone too far... you shouldn't have let your so called attraction to her get in the way! You don't want her to think of you as a person who takes advantage of the help you give!

She massaged her temples to calm herself and remove the stress out of her mind before she makes a decision.

Argh! What should I do? It's wrong to force her out of the house.

Should I ask her to leave if she wants to? Definitely not. She said she was just curious and all and I don't want her out of my house.

Should I leave my house? The heck Jisoo! What are you thinking?

Okay... here's the last option:

As much as possible, stay away from her.

Jisoo convinced herself that the last option is the most humane thing she could do for now.
