Chapter 12

"Chaeyoung!"

"Yes Ji?"

"About Jennie..."

"Ah yes! She called me a while ago and told me what happened. Don't worry, I told her that you are a good person."

"Thanks haha. But did she ask of me?"

"Oh yes." Chaeyoung became nervous when she remembered what she told of Jisoo to Jennie.

"What did you tell her?"

"Uhmmm, I told her the truth Jis." Chaeyoung said with a smile, anticipating Jisoo's anger. "I told her that you are spacing out."

"That's all?"

"Yes, it's all."

"Okay. Next time she asks about me, tell her I'm fine and I'm doing a lot of papers. Nothing more, nothing less and do not elaborate it to her. You answered her a while ago as our friend, but next time answer that question as my secretary."

"I'm sorry."

"No worries haha. It's not like I'll die because you told her."

"Okay okay haha. But I'll make sure to do it next time."

"Thanks." Jisoo said and Chaeyoung bowed to her before going back to her desk.

Jisoo never failed to stare at Chaeyoung's back when she was walking away. Her long sleeve polo not so tight but not so loose which gives her a hottie vibe, and her skirt that hugs her thighs and buttocks at the right place – Jisoo observed all of them.

Oh my Jisoo! Did you see how attractive your secretary is?! How come you didn't noticed this when she started working with you?

Admiring Chaeyoung wasn't bad and wasn't hard after all.

Jennie went home directly from school. She didn't feel like eating outside and she made up her mind that she'll now apologize really. Nothing will stop her. She cooked enough for the 2 of them with what she found in the fridge.

Jisoo came home later than usual.

She entered the room looking tired and sleepy. Her hands loosely holding her brief case and her eyes lidded. She is yawning when Jennie called her.

"Hey Jisoo!"

"Oh! Hey Jennie! How was your classes?" Jisoo tried to open her eyes wider to wake herself up but the stress she has really tired her mind.

"It's great! We started on hands-on activity this day and I was able to keep up."

"Very good, kiddo! Just continue it." Jisoo flashed a weak smile and looked away and cover her mouth to yawn.

"Were you tired? Let's have dinner first before you rest."

"I'm sleepy actually. And, sorry. I'm not really hungry right now."

"Okay." Jennie answered in an almost whisper voice. Her apology attempt did not succeed this time.

The next morning, the same thing happened. Jisoo went out early and Jennie woke up to no Jisoo in the house. But today is not really bad. Jisoo left her a note sticking to the fridge.

Jennie, I think the food inside is enough only for a person. I'll just grab a take-out this morning. Could you just order groceries online later? Have a great day ahead. (>.<)
