A month have passed and everything went well for them.

Jisoo now fetches Jennie from her university every day. She would leave her office early to fetch her and just continue her unfinished work at home.

Jennie never felt this happy before. She felt like she was in a dream she wouldn't want to be woke up. Jisoo makes her breakfast, fetches her from school and she would teach Jennie at night the lessons she doesn't understand. The world is on her side right now.

Jisoo and Chaeyoung didn't have dinners together anymore. Chaeyoung keeps on telling Jisoo how Jennie should not be with Kai after classes. Besides, she said that she now grew to love Lisa's cooking.

Kai is still at his agenda on being close to Jennie. He would still have lunch with Jennie and Nayeon.

Jennie woke up on a Sunday morning. She decided to cook breakfast – bacons and eggs – for the two of them. She also toasted slices of bread.

Jisoo came down later fresh from the bath, wearing a Pikachu T-shirt and sweatpants.

"Good morning Jichu!" Jennie said and gave Jisoo a gummy smile.

"Wow! I'm Jichu now?"

"Uhuh." Jennie playfully nodded her head. "Before, I thought Jichu just sounds cute and now, I have a reason to call you that: Jisoo Pikachu, Jichu."

Jisoo laughed heartily on what Jennie said. She found the nickname cute so she didn't say anything anymore.

They had their breakfast and Jisoo washed the dishes.

"Jennie?"

"Hmm?"

"During Christmas, even if I'm alone, I put on some Christmas decorations. Would you like to help me?"

"Yes! Yes! I'd love to!"

After hearing that, Jisoo got the Christmas decors from upstairs. They will set up a Christmas tree and put Christmas lights and garlands all over the place.

Jennie offered that she will décor the Christmas tree and Jisoo may now start with other decors.

While Jisoo was wrapping the stair handrail with garland, Jennie called out for her.

"Jisoo."

Jisoo looked at Jennie and saw the look on her face. It must be something serious.

"Hmm?"

"This is actually my first time doing this."

"Oh... sorry. I thought you had an idea of this before. Don't worry, I'll just finish th-"

"No. That's not what I meant. I dreamt of doing this before but my parents..." Jennie sighed. "I don't know but we never had this moment, they will just tell me to study a lot on vacation because if not, I might flunk my grades. I," she took a deep breath. "I will always see movies where a family would help each other in decorating the house, they would lift up the child so she can put the star on top of a Christmas tree."
