The boy went to the back of the small house, where a lone door stood, and two little steps led to the entrance. His chanclas slapped against his heel as he walked up the steps backwards, making sure the gangly pup stayed put. He turned around to open it. Slowly it creaked as he tried not to alert the people inside. He checked to see if the pup was still there, stupidly he was.

Shirou wanted more food. His pack didn't feed the pups yesterday to ensure they would actually try to hunt. Stomach growling he looked at the young boy holding  the last piece of sausage, he still didn't trust him but his mind wasn't making the decisions any more.
He leaned down, butt in the air ready to pounce at the hand holding the last peice...

The young boy heard the little gurgles coming from the pup's belly. Out of the corner of his eye he checked to see if he left. Surprisingly he saw the pup readying to attack him, but this wasn't his first time bringing a dog home.

Shirou pounced for the last peice of chorizo, but the boy was prepared.
He swiftly turned around and grabbed the waist of the dog running through the open door, down the corridor to the last door on the left. Leaving the small piece of chorizo on the dusty floor.
