Shirou had flown to Mexico, first time since he left. Though there are now large cities where the quaint shacks he remembered roaming around were, he still felt more at home.
Walking around the city, he ignored the strange looks he got from people because white hair on a supposed teenager is not something anyone sees regularly.
He walked towards a vendor. But of all the languages he learned in the world, why did he neglect Spanish?
"¿Que comida quieres tourista?(what meal do you want)"
Said the vendor.
He looked at the pictures next to the stand, " yo quiero la-uh-la churro por favor?(i want the-um-the churro please)."
The vendor smiled and said in a thick accent, "I guess not all tourists are rude."
He continued to make an extra long churro, and a few tacos on the side, "I do not make much tourist, but I do give much to good people."
He handed, the churro in a brown bag, and the tacos on a paper plate, "6 pesos por favor(6 pesos please)"
Shirou realized he hadn't brought money or transferred it into pesos, he checked his pocket to find a crumpled 10 dollar bill, "Is this enough? If not I can get more-"
"No NO this is too much, yo tengo un poquito moneda en mi bolsillo-(i have some change in my pocket)"
The vendor placed the food on the stand and searched his pockets.
"Please, you deserve this, you're so kindhearted." Shirou handed the bill to the vendor, "Thank you, I'll definitely come back for more."
And he walked away, leaving the kind vendor in awe.
Later on Shirou sat on the warm sand on the beach as the sun slowly set, he took a bite of the taco. The familiar taste of chorizo, and delicious aroma of freshly grown tomatoes with a delectable spicy sauce, " Oh~ that is so good!" He paused, remembering the first time he had the sausage.
He looked off into the sunset, "I don't know if you're out there, but... I still miss you Marco."
Rising the last taco in the air, he took off some of the chorizo and buried it in the ground, "For you..."
