SNOH
Lunette May Wasip was a petite woman with tawny-brown skin that I knew for sure would glow and reflect off the sun if the sunlight were a thing here in Wysteria, or at least that was what I read in books about the hot celestial structure. From a young age, her appearance was always something that made others turn around and gawk at; I think mostly because she was a Sprite and not many of her kind were around this area or even went to school with regular red-bloods like us.
Like her parents, Lulu was a tiny individual with lanky limbs and facial features—a common Sprite trait, if not Etherian. Her column-shaped figure was always delicate and pore-less to match her heart-shaped face and small chin that carried a soft peach undertone. Her eyes Ivy-green eyes were large, round, and wide-set against her face, her they even sometimes pulsated just like her father whenever they were excitable about something.
Lulu was a lot shorter than me, not by too much but she tended to sit on top of whatever she could find in order to meet me eye to eye; I always thought it was hilarious whenever she did that, but I suppose she didn't like it when people looked down in order to have a conversation with her.
I chuckled nervously, scratching the back of my head realizing my cover had been blown, so there was really no choice but to fully reveal myself to her. I walked into the fragrant-smelling floral workshop with a slight admiration; this place was always filled to the brim with different exotic flowers from different walks of Othea, but I had to say plants from Etheral were the most captivating due to their color and formation.
"I didn't mean to sneak up on you. I just got here a few minutes ago, your mom told me you were back here working on some arrangements." I said to her. Lulu nodded slowly, her pink thick eyebrows furrowing with a bit of curiosity as she asked me further questions, "Are you already finished working at my father's shop?" She asked me curiously.
I nodded, "Yeah! Want some cake, I brought extra?" I asked her.
Her small lips curved into a bit of a smirk, "Thanks, but no thanks. I think I've had enough of the café's treats to last me a lifetime... but thanks for the offer." She gestured for me to walk more into the room and I did, continuing to mentally take in the plants that were hanging on strings from the wooden ceilings, a few crystal-powered lanterns were sending a warm glow into the room—that being the only source of light filling the room since the window was reflecting the constant darkness that surrounded this part of the nation; still, the glow of the moon was enough to cast a soft blue glow into the room that made the flowers seem to sparkle more than usual.
I pulled my bag off my shoulders and sat it beside a rack of ready-made flower arrangements and pulled a stool over to where Lulu had returned to working on her unique arrangement. "What kind of flowers are you trying to make?" I asked her curiously as I observed the essence of red and orange particles begin to leave her fingers once more and make their way into the bushes of pumpkin-colored roses.
