When I returned from that open field with my father, who had offered to escort me back, I realized instantly that downpour of rain and heavy winds had transferred over to the opposite side where Clouiths Academy had remained. Even with the power to stop the extremely large water twister in its path of destruction, it still left a residue of the tumultuous storm that had students and scholars alike running to the safety of their residences and buildings.

My father instructed me to rest well, mostly due to the fact that since my body was still fairly new to the magic that it would cause me to be tired; though he mentioned overtime that as I got older, the more resilient my vessel would become to magic, thus causing little to no reaction after large influxes of magic.

He was right. After resting, I was back to feeling more like myself.

I still couldn't believe my single, small body was able to create something so large and destructive; even my father wasn't quite able to decipher just how many additional blessings of power my grandmother had given to me.

It was all still a mystery how she operated and what all of this meant in the long run. But who was I to question an Ultimate Goddess? They clearly had the power of the universe and the absolute strength to demolish it as they saw fit; it made sense why father and Aunt Aquila did not have any rebuttal for their mother whenever she directed them to do something such as losing contact with me as a young child.

Regardless of those profound thoughts that continued to cycle inside of my head like a routine clock, I spent the early mornings of the Crimson Ball caring for the plants I began growing as per Scholar Miku Sunkuroda's assignment instructions for my earth wielding course.

Just earlier, I had finished warding off the windows in my room using the new information provided to us in our warding courses. The more information I picked up, the more I realized that there were so many aspects magic could be used in; previously, I thought of how only entrances could be warded off, but in reality, anything had the ability to be sealed off from presence you would not like to have around you.

It was fun using my magic to create a barrier in my window from any foreign entities entering without my permission. But even better than that was seeing the small seedlings of the plants we had been assigned to grow began to flourish in my bedroom.

Scholar Sunkuroda was right, the existence of plants in the bedroom did not only elevate the vibrations of the space, but it created a positive and fresh environment to thrive in!

I was assigned to grow Lavender which was a natural remedy for sleep and relaxation. Pothos, that specialized in purifying the air, and finally the Jasmine plant that had gentle and soothing effects on the body and mind. I guess that could explain my increased mood once I was in my private space; the fact that I was able to jump right back up after an influx of my magic possibly had to do with the fact that these plants were thriving s well in my company.

I hummed to myself as my small radio played in the background on my working desk. I continued cleaning off and tending to my plants with precision and care, observing if they needed any additional sunlight, water, or even a bit of stimulation.

It was nice being calm like this. Downstairs for the morning meals, a lot of the students were excitedly expressing their anticipation for this evening's Crimson Ball; many of them gushed over their expensive and custom dresses and evening suits that they had prepared for the formal occasion, others relished in the idea of meeting high ranking officials and members of the faculty and Wysteria.

I, on the other hand, nervously anticipated the night.

It would be the night that my identity would truly be revealed to the population of Clouiths; even though the Crimson Ball was specifically for the first iso to third iso students, the news would not fail to spread once the night had cleared and everyone went their separate ways.
