"We're going to put our earth elemental gifts to use and start budding plants of our own today!" The scholar announced excitedly to the glee of the students. Many of them whispered amongst each other about the different plants they would attempt to sprout; I knew a bit about different species of plants because I did spend quite some time in Lulu's mother's shop as a young child learning about the different things they grew.

It was nice being in an environment where I felt like I was necessarily behind in a sense.

"I believe my little saplings that this is one of the best ways to get in touch with your naturalistic abilities as most of you are beginning in your journey... and others have this skill as a sector." She looked around the room warmly, her eyes pausing ever so slightly at the students who gazed back at her with fascination.

She pressed her slender fingers together and a gentle green glow erupted from her fingers before pulling them apart slowly to reveal a budding orange flower, it was small and seemed to still be in the process of growing. "Othea is comprised of energy and molecules that when pulled together in the right way can create organisms of amazing caliber." She closed her hands again and the flower crumbled into the shimmering matter before disappearing altogether.

"I've had isos of developing my abilities and many can create from simply matter alone, but you my saplings will be using seedlings to aid in the growth of your abilities since you may be weak in the process, understood?" She cocked her to the side, her densely coiled auburn hair shifted slightly as she moved her head.

A series of vocal agreements and head nods came from the students as they anticipated what would come next. "Now we will work on just little plants first, and then we will disperse into small groups for a larger practice exercise." She stated.

The scholar explained to us very briefly the techniques for aiding a seedling grow and soon enough, we were on our own to make the organism grow. She set random seeds besides each and everyone; none of us had any idea of the kind of plant we were going to create, so this was rather exciting to see which one I had gotten.

Many of the students got right to preparing everything they needed in order to get the plant to grow. I watched as they stood up and walked around the room to gather the supplies resting on the wooden shelves of the observatory classroom. I got up myself and followed suit, picking up the things I knew I needed to house a perfect environment for a flower.

Some shelves were littered with clay and ceramic flowering pots, some big, other smalls, many of them very wide and circular. I had no idea how big my plant would necessarily be, so I grabbed a moderately sized clay pot and moved on to gather more items.
