Draco and I were heading to the common room after we were at the room of requirements for hours, before we entered, I grabbed his wrist and tugged him back.

"I need to talk to Pansy." I whispered.

"Y/n, no." He sighed.

"But maybe she is sorry, who knows, everyone makes mistakes like look at us." I chuckled as I waved a hand between the two of us.

"You're calling us a mistake?" His face dropped.

"No! No, I mean like we've made many mistakes but we're still here together you know?"

"Yeah, suppose I understand." I small smile appearing on his lips but it didn't stay long. I leaned up and cupped his cheeks as I kissed his lips.

"Ok, well... I'll see you later, I guess." I did an awkward wave and walked past him.

I slowly walked through the common room, questioning my choice right now.

I got to Pansy's dorm and did two slow knocks.

"Come in!" Her voice cheered from inside, I could tell it was forced. I twisted the knob and walked in. "Oh, Y/n..." She whispered.

"Hey..." She sat up and faked a small smile.

"Can we talk?" I started to slowly make my way towards her.

"Do you think we could tomorrow? I promise I'm not mad or anything I just really-" Her breath got shaky and heavy as a tear slid down her cheek. "I've just lost everything and I need some time to process this." She sobbed as she wiped her tears, smudging her mascara as she faked another smile.

"Pans-"

"Y/n, trust me, I just need space right now."

"Ok, well... I'm here and I'm sorry I shouldn't have pushed you off." I whispered as I awkwardly stood still with my fingers tangling with each other.

"It's ok, I deserved it. Just go on with your night, this happens often, believe me." She chuckled as a mascara filled tears streamed down her cheek.

"Pansy, I really don't think I should go." I sighed.

"Y/n, I'm asking you to go, we can talk about this tomorrow when I'm not so." She pointed at her stained clothes and knotted bun.

"Ok, goodnight Pans." I gave her a reassuring smile before I turned and walked out.

I walked into the common room and expected to see Draco but I didn't but some alone time would be nice.

I made my way to the black lake to sit in silence.

I got there pretty fast and sat down with my knees against my chest as I listened to crickets and other creatures off in the forest talk to one another.

"Look who we've got here." Someone whispered, this is when I'd get murderered, I turned my head and could make out a tall figure a bit taller than Draco.

"Sorry I can't tell who-"

"George Weasley, of course, who else would it be?"

"Oh, well I mean, I don't know." I chuckled as I shrugged my shoulders and looked away. I heard the grass crunch beside me as he was now sat on my left side.

"So what are you doing out her all alone?"

"Just taking a breather you know, life does get pretty rough sometimes." I chuckled as I looked over at him.

"Ah, yes. I know, something we can relate to off the bat." He chuckled.

"Well, would you like to talk about it, I'm not much of a secret spiller or whatever." I chuckled.
