"I don't want him near my daughter anymore." I heard my mother whisper, she must've been talking about father.

I took in my surrondings. I was in bed, with Draco. The sun was gleaming through a small space of the black curtains. I heard steps leave from the room, growing quieter as the seconds passed by.

I slowly hung my left leg from the side of the bed and slid out from Draco's hold. I sat at the side of the bed, both legs now dangling. I looked over my shoulder and watched as Draco took light breaths through the small gap between his cracked lips. My eyes gazed to all the cuts his father had left behind.

I grabbed my wand from the nightstand and got up, making my way from the dark room.

The halls of the Malfoy Manor were always cold, bareable though. I stood in place for a second, nothing heard but the faint sound of heels clacking against the stone floors.

I was going to make him breakfast, all by hand. My wand was going to stay out of reach during the whole process.

I made my way down the stairs, looking out the tall windows on my way down. There was fluffy snow falling from the sky, pilling up against the windows.

I heard quiet whispers coming from the kitchen. I slowly approached and saw my mother and Narcissa.

"Hey guys." I whispered with a smile.

Their heads turned my way.

"Hello, love!" Narcissa immediatly said, rushing over to me, giving me a hug. Which I returned. She leaned back. "We were just about to whip something up for the two of you." She smiled.

"Oh, that sounds great!" I smiled. "Can I help actually?"

----

Breakfast was done. French toast, eggs, and tea.

After I ate with the two of them, I placed everything on a tray to take up to Draco.

I walked up the stairs and headed to his room with a smile on my face, I've never done this before.

Just as I was about to reach his room, I set the tray down on a table and grabbed my wand from my pocket.

"Lumos."

I picked everything back up and approached his room. I carefully knocked the door open with my foot and peered inside.

I shifted my body to face his bed, the light flooding all over.

My mouth fell open at a sight I didn't think I'd ever see.

"Get out." I harshly whispered, walking sideways to place the tray on a table, my light not leaving from him.

Once I set it down, I began to approach.

"Do I need to repeat myself? Get the fuck out!" I demanded.

My father was stuck in his position, a pillow being held just above Draco's head.

"He isn't good for you and you know it!" He quietly rasped.

I chuckled and rose an eyebrow. "He's not good for me? Oh, please! You aren't good for me!" I approached him even more.

"He forced you to kill someone." He spat.

"He didn't force me to do shit. It's not like I'm over here living your life. Killing innocent people every day. You were the one who set Leonardo up, if you don't remember." My wand began to shake in my hand, blood rushed to my head as I held back every unforgivable spell.

"I'm your father."

"You'd be just as good dead." I scoffed as I quickly waved my wand up and down his body. I quickly moved my wand over to the pillow he was holding, "evanesco." I spoke, the pillow disappearing.

He gasped and yanked his arms back.

"Don't think I wont do the same to you. Just remember, I can do far worse to something with blood circulating through their body." I spat, taking a step closer, scraping my wand under his chin.

He rose his chin as much as he could, hardly looking down with me with fear in his eyes.

"You wont. It doesn't matter how much you grow to hate me, you'd never build up the courage to kill your own father." He whispered.

"Don't test me." I spat, my wand began to dig into his skin. "I have every reason to!" I yelled. "I'll do it! I can do it!" I yelled again.

My body began to shake alltogether. It frooze when a cold hand met my wrist.

"Y/n, don't."

I looked over and saw Draco sat up in the bed.

I looked back at my father, his body doing a rapid spin and disappearing. I pointed my wand to the floor and saw a spider rushing from the room.

"Damnit!" I complained, dropping my shoulders.

"Y/n, it's alright." Draco whispered. I snapped my neck and looked over at him.

"You've got to be joking! He just tried to kill you!" I gasped.

"I know." He whispered.

I tilted my hed to the side.

"But he didn't, thanks to you." His hand moved from my wrist to my hand, his thumb rubbing my knuckles.

My hand must've stopped for a second, I dropped my wand and just stared at him with curiosity.

"What in Merlins name is going on in here?!"

I looked over my shoulder at the door. It was my mother and Narcissa.

"Father broke in." I whispered.

"Well, are you two alright?!" Narcissa asked as her and my mother began to rush over.

"Yes, mother. Keep an eye out for a spider." Draco chuckled.

I looked back at him and searched his eyes for an answer. Why had he been so calm?
