Bokuto and Akaashi walked downstairs as Akaash took the lead to his kitchen. "What would you like to eat?" Akaashi asked deadpan.

"Oh, I'm good."

"Bokuto, I know you have a big appetite, surely you're hungry."

"Well, do you have any meat buns?"

Akaashi shook his head as he took a few things from the cupboard." no, but I can make some."

"Wwooaah! Akaashi, I didn't know you could cook!"

"Yes. I can, Bokuto. Can't you?"

"Not really. When did you start? Do you like it? Why do you cook?"

"Ten. yes. Because I like it, and because my uncle is a chef."

"WOw AkaAsHi! That's the most I've learned about you. And it was in a span of 5 seconds!"

"That's not true. You know a lot about me." Akaashi said while he started making his and Bokuto's dumplings. He also thought about what things he told Bokuto about himself.

"Hmm...guess so..." Bokuto said tapping his chin through consideration.

"Well, what do you want to know about me?" Akaashi questioned sternly.

"Uuh, Don know." Bokuto shrugged. " Normal stuff, simple stuff, you tell me."

"Well, I grew up here but traveled to different places when I was very young with my parents. They were on business trips but still always found time for me. We settled in Paris for a year before coming back. How's that?"

"Wow! That's so cool! Paris huh. Tell me more!"

"Well, I have this rare sort of memory..." This was a perfect time... the opportunity. Akaashi gulped hard." I can remember my past life..."

"Wo-"

"And you were in it..."

"Akaashi! I guess we were just meant to be!"

"You're not mad I didn't tell you?"

"hmm, I don't understand why you didn't, but I don't mind that much. What happened in our past life? I wish I could remember!"

No, you really don't. Akaashi was really hoping Bokuto wasn't going to ask that question.'What happened?' "Um, we met in a hospital, we talked for a while...I came back the next day and you told me you had FFI." Akaashi gulped then inhaled and started talking." I got your number and finally told you my name, you told me your name the day before while I didn't. I researched about FFI and..." Akaashi trailed off."We became close friends even if the first time you texted me I ignored it.  I was..." Akaashi chuckled." Quite cold then."

"Oh, so not much different to now." Bokuto laughed. Akaashi looked down embarrassed.

"I uh-"

"I'm just kidding, Kaashi." Bokuto smiled wider than the sea. God, it was that one smile. The one smile that when Akaashi saw it, he too couldn't help but smile.

" I started to...develop feelings for you as well, I didn't know why..." Akaashi looked up.

"I'm sure must of, too," Bokuto said with a reassuring smile., he was blushing bright pink, however. Akaashi turned away from where he was cooking the dumplings and noticed the pinkness of Bokuto's face.

"Wh-what else happened?" Bokuto asked still stained pink.

You died.

You died.

I cried.

For eternity. He couldn't say that though, could he? Akaashi exhaled shakily. Bokuto noticed Akaashi was worried by his expression." Don't worry. I can handle whatever happened!" Bokuto said with a sarcastic but joking tone.

"uh, you...died..."

"..."

"..."

"oh."

"The dumplings are ready." Akaashi held out two plates of dumplings and placed them on each side of the table. There was a weird tension in the room, but they ate, and soon later, to Bokuto's surprise, broke the silence.

" I just want you to know, I cried for a very long time."

There was a new silence. But there was a new tension...

The tension of love.

Akaashi and Bokuto had finished their food and Akaash picked up the plates." It's fine, Akaashi, I can wash those."

"Bokuto, please, it's alright."

"Let me." Bokuto got up and tried to take the plates and ended up putting his hand on Akaashi's. Akaashi's heart skiped a beat. without awareness, Akaashi dropped the plates. With Bokuto's amazing reflexed, Bokuto caught them. Bokuto watched every movement he took. As he so perfectly swooped in and got them. As if it were rehearsed. How Bokuto's muscles tightened just as he caught the plates. How when he touched Akaashi's hand it felt amazing. So firm. Yet so soft. So delicate. He'd kill just to feel that feeling again. Akaashi suddenly snapped himself back to reality.

"U-uh, I'm sorry. "

"Akaashi! you're bleeding." Akaashi didn't even realize.

"Yeah, shit. That hurts." Akaashi said through his teeth.

"Do you have any bandages?"

"Yeah. over there." Akaashi pointed to a place with his good hand.

Bokuto ran to get them. he wrapped it around the cut. the cut was small. Only a little bit of plate chipped. Bokuto quickly washed the dishes. They later walked up to Akaashi's bedroom.

"Does it still hurt?"

"Not really thanks to you."

"Oh yeah."

"Seriously I'm grateful."

"I - yeah."

They smiled intensely and kindly at eachother.
