Deja vu

Chapter 20

A/n So, I know I need to finish this book soon because 20 chapters-- omg. Also, thank you so much for 100 reads like I know it's not alt but honestly just means so much to me. I'm not exactly sure how I'm gonna end it but oh well. 

ok, so here is some background from where I have left off to now. It has been two weeks and Bokuto hasn't slept through it all. Akaashi didn't know this yet and Bokuto had been lying to Akaashi, saying he had been sleeping. -- Alright, I hope you enjoy it. Also, this is a warning, this is the start of what is going to end on some really dark stuff. This chapter isn't going to be dark or have ANY angst because no-- how could I do that I love Bokuaka!! Yes, it is gonna be a little-- ok, so it's just gonna have Akaashi worrying over Bokuto, that's all. And look, I don't care how much of a spoiler this is, you can live happily cus Bokuto-- or no one for a matter of fact- is going to die. Ok sorry for that rant. now, this is also important info. Akaashi and Bokuto had decided to talk to Akaashi's parents and they were having dinner so Akaashi and Bokuto confess they are in a relationship. Anzu is gonna be there too. read. 

"Hey, hey hey!"
"Hi, Koutarou," Akaashi said closing the door behind him. Akaashi closely examined Bokuto's face as he saw the bags around his eyes. Bokuto could feel his heartbeat rapidly, sweat dripping down the side of his face. " You look tired..."
"I- um- didn't sleep last night..." a face of panic rushed over Akaashi. 
"yOu DIdN't wHaT!?" 
"I mean don't worry! It's not insomnia! I was just excited for today!" Bokuto said, more than anything, Bokuto wanted to stop hiding under a mask of lies but he didn't want to worry Akaashi. Bokuto was selfless. A little too selfless. To the point where it damaged his own well-being. "Don't lie to me Bokuto Koutarou."
"I'm not! I promise!"
"Hmm..ok..."
"Now, let's go!" They all sat at the dinner table and Anzu winked at the two reassuringly. 
"Here's the food!"
"Thank you for the food!" everyone said before they said their prayers. "Akaashi, what was it you needed to tell us?" Guni asked, cutting to the point. But, Akaria followed this sentence confusing Akaashi and Bokuto. "Although, we understand If now is not an appropriate time for you to tell us. You don't have to." Akaashi was bewildered by what his mother had said and nervously looked at Bkuto then back at his mom. " Why wouldn't I want to tell you?" Akaashi asked trying not to tremble with fear. "We just don't want to pressure you," Akaria said, smiling. 
"Uh- well, I um...I don't really know how to say this..." Akaashi felt a hand holding him and he looked at Bokuto who was looking directly at him, smiling. 

"I and Bokuto are in a relationship, and we have been for a while and I didn't tell you and I'm really sorry and I know I shouldn't lie but everything was so confusing and Anzu knew and Um I really love him and I'm sorry and Bokuto's dad is homophobic and I don't know why I just told you that and I hope you aren't and-"
"Hey, Keiji. breathe." Guni said smiling. " Everything is ok," Guni said really excited and Akaashi didn't know why. Guni had a large grin on his face and his hand cheered victoriously under the table. Akaria had a straight face on and once Akaahsi looked at her, she smiled. It was a genuine smile. But, Akaashi was so confused. "Mom...? Uh..Um-"
"That's great! You seem like such a-" Akaria chuckled slightly." A great couple!" 
Bokuto raised a brow. " You..laughed...?" Bokuto asked. 
"Yes, I'm so sorry It's just... Guni and already knew you two were dating." 
"You...did?" Bokuto questioned still confused. 
"Well, yes. Need I say it was very obvious? Need I say that it was more obvious that you two loved each other for a very long time until you started a relationship?!"
"Oh, Come on! How many people are going to say that?! It wasn't that obvious!"
"Yes, it was. You two were just oblivious." Guni said interrupting.
"that is true," mentioned Anzu. 
"Your mother, Akaashi, is just annoyed because she guessed you would confess a lot sooner but I had a feeling it would be today and she lost the bet."
"Wait?! You better on our relationship!?" Akaashi asked while Bokuto was laughing. " Well, as long as you don't mind me dating him...then I guess it's fine." Akaahsi said no longer holding back a chuckle and a tight breath, a sigh of relief escaped him and he didn't even know he was holding a breath back. When he let go, he felt alot better, there was nothing holding him back in his body. No tension. No lies. The rest of dinner was left with comfort and laughter. Chatter and smiles.

Happiness.

Bokuto and Akaahsi were in Akaashi's room lauhting and talking. " I can't believe they knew!"
"yeah! ...um, but, Keiji...?"
"Hm? What is it Kou?"
"...I haven't slept in two weeks. I'm so tired." tears broke free Bokuto's eyes and Akaashi lened in and cupped Bokuto's face. He threw Bokuto's face over his shoulder and wrapped his habds around Bokuto's waist hugging him, comforting him, reasuring him. He rubbed Bokuto's back.    " Shh...It's gonna be ok. Whay didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't want to worry you...ecpecially for no reason.." Akaashi shakes his head and patted Bokuto. " Koutarou...you're too selfless. That's a reason! And an important one! You can tell me anything! If you're in doubt tell me! If you have a nightmare tell me! If you cry for no reason, tell me! If you are just sad, for no reason, Tell me!" A taer trippled down Akaashi's cheek. " I love you...so..you can tell me anything... okay?"
"Okay. I love you, too Keiji."
"You can sleep with me tonight. And any other time you want."
"Yeah, okay."
