Akaashi smiled shortly. he had pink tinted cheeks and red ears that threatened to grow its wildly red color over the rest of his face. Bokuto made him feel like this."Wh-whatever...you're the most handsome." They smiled at each other. they walked into maths class and this was their last class together, and Akaashi tried not to feel so down-hearted but the feeling crept over him anyway.
They sat down and were handed their marked homework." Hey! Agaaashhii!! I GOT AN A+"
"That's great Bokuto."
"Thanks for helping me!"
"You're welcome," A warm smile spread approvingly across Akaashi's face.
" Understanding your excitement, but Bokuto, please try to be a little quieter." The class laughed. Akaashi slightly chuckled. " I wasn't that loud," Bokuto mumbled as he folded his arms to rest upon his chest and twisted his mouth to the side, frowning. " You were quite loud." Akaashi smiled reassuringly. He tried to smile more when Bokuto was around but that wasn't too difficult. I was almost automatic. It was so easy to smile when he always made Akaashi smile. Bokuto looked at him and snorted out a small laugh.
TIME SKIP.............
I'M SORRY. BUT IDK WHAT TO WRITE??!!The bell rang and they left class??
OK, ANOTHER TIME SKIP...
The bell rang and it was time for lunch. Akaashi was ready for the routine. Start going to the cafeteria but get interrupted by Terushima and his friends, go sit with his team and pretend everything was ok. It was what he always did. It was what they always did to him. He never bothered to fight back for multiple reasons. He didn't let it get to him. He had nothing to say to them. He knew it wasn't true. There was no point caring about such little things so Akaashi brushed it aside, but this time he brought it to mind.
"hey pretty face."
Great. Just great.
"Hello, Terushima-san. Is there something you need?" Akaashi asked deadpan.
" A smile perhaps? And it's just Terushima."
Akaashi shot a small, quick sarcastic smile. " Happy, Terushima-san?" sarcasm grasped through Akaashi's voice.
"No. So are you going to set me a few balls today?"
"No."
"You say that every day." He wined.
" And so I will continue to say every day."
"Akaashi, I know your secrets..."
"Say them if you want he mumbled."
Oh yeah, that was another reason why Akaashi never fought back. Terushima knew Akaashi liked Bokuto, he knew he and his parents could remember their past life- and why is that so bad you ask? Because people with that memory are either killed because people believe people shouldn't have that higher power over others or they are used for experiments by scientists. Terushima also knew that Akaashi's parents went to jail two years ago for participating in an illegal business agreement. ( his parents were good people, though.) Terushima would pester Akaashi by flirting with him though it would just annoy the hell out of Akaashi.
" Oh, so you want to be exposed?"
"Bokuto already knows I like him and he knows about my past life memories and I no longer care for the fact if anyone else knows! My parents would never let anything happen to me anyways. "
"I'm sure they would go to extreme lengths." Terushima smirked." Oh, so you and Bokuto now? Hmm? And I'm also sure you will break up with him or else your secret might just slip my tongue."
"Wh-"
"Is there a problem here?" Bokuto appeared as if out of nowhere. He was by a corner and listening in since the beginning."
"Bokuto? How long were you standing there?" Akaashi asked. Terushima narrowed his eyes.
"From the beginning. Do you have a problem with us dating?"
"Not I. But Akaashi does." Terushima said before he and his friends walked away. Those words echoed through his head for some reason. Why would he think that? Akaashi asked himself.
Bokuto and Akaashi walked over to a table outside, so they could eat alone, and sat down next to each other. "What was all that about, Kashi?"
"It's nothing. They're just annoying"
"Yeah, but are you- did you..." Bokuto trailed off and started eating his onigiri.
"Bokuto...? You don't think we're...dating do you?"
"No!... I just thought maybe you...used to.."
Akaashi frowned. I didn't. I promise. I hate him." Akaashi stopped frowning and gave Bokuto a small reassuring smile that was meaningful unlike the one he gave Terushima. But he pushed Terushima from his mind. He was with Bokuto, now. And that was all that mattered. Bokuto smiled back kicking back all bad and jealous thoughts. He was with Akaashi, now. And that was all that mattered.
Akaashi started to eat his ramen then Bokuto talked again. " So, what was that secret Terushima was talking about?" Bokuto asked casually.
"Uh..." Akaashi's eyes shifted looking everywhere but at Bokuto but once his eyes met his, they were locked on them. " I can keep a secret," Bokuto said winking. Akaashi flushed a bit and decided to tell Bokuto. " My parents went to jail--uh, uh don't get the wrong idea. They're people so you don't need to worry about it when you meet them. They were wrongly accused. They didn't know they were participating in an illegal business deal. I just didn't want everyone to know. I'd be known as the third year with criminal parents. "Bokuto blinked in confusion twice before he opened his mouth. " They wouldn't. did you know I had an uncle who went to prison? And the only annoying thing was that almost every day some would come up to me and give their condolences. It was sooo annoying. haha."
Akaashi laughed and it turned harder by the second. Bokuto soon joined in. "So, Akaashi when will I be meeting your parents, as you said?" Akaashi hadn't even been thinking when he'd said that. Akaashi nervously chuckled. "Uh..." Bokuto giggled and kissed Akaashi on the cheek so casually then continued eating his food. he did it so casually, it bewildered Akaashi. Akaashi blushed. A LOT. Akaashi leaned in and kissed Bokuto on the lips it was so deep, so intermittent but did it so casually and continued eating his food with a smirk on his face. " That's unfair." Stated Bokuto. before he leaned in and cupped Akaashi's face and kissed him with full attention and Akaashi kissed him back. They sank into each other. " And how was that fair?" Akaashi asked with a newfound smirk on his face. " It wasn't. But it also wasn't supposed to be." Bokuto smirked." Oh, how Akaashi was excited for after school.
