Akaashi smiled lazily and had his eyes half-open. "Akaashi? You look tired." Akaashi frantically shook his head. " No! I'm fine."
Bokuto smiled reassuringly, " You can sleep, it's fine."
Akaashi struggled to keep in his yawn and gave in to it, and yawned- which to Bokuto, was the cutest thing he'd seen. Bokuto smiled. " Go to sleep, Kashi."
"No, you won't be able to, so I'll just stay awake and comfort you."
"No, Ka-" Akaashi's face turned 100% stern, clearing the happy looked he had on his face before. " No. I'm staying awake." Bokuto smiled. "Ok, Kashi." The two conversed for the next hour before it was a conversation of Bokuto rambling and Akaashi just listened but after a half-hour of Bokuto straight up rambling Akaashi fell asleep and it took Bokuto ten minutes to stop talking and notice. " Akaashi?" Bokuto chuckled to himself. " You really were tired." Bokuto climbed out his window and moved Akaashi to the side. He stepped into Akaashi's house through the window then Bokuto picked him up and put him on the bed. He walked out the window and weaved into his. He watched Akaashi sleep for a bit before going to his own bed and trying to sleep. One hour had passed and Bokuto still wasn't asleep. It agitated Bokuto, why was it like this, it's just sleeping and he couldn't seep to fall into it. "ugh!" he growled into his pillow. Bokuto sneaked a glance at Akaashi sleeping and slapped himself on the cheek. " No, Koutarou! I can't go in there; I'll wake Kashi!" He groaned at himself and before his brain could stop his body, he was climbing out his window, climbing into Akaashi's, and laid on the bed." Bok-Bokuto? Hm?" Akaashi said through a yawn. " Shh. Go to sleep, Kashi." Akaashi opened the blanket and covered it over him."I love you, Koutarou." Akaashi froze when he realized what he had said. The word had just rolled off his tongue then suddenly thought about what this meant. "uh I-" Bokuto chuckled. "Heh, yeah. I love you, too, Keiji." Akaashi felt at ease as his heart melted.
"Does this mean I can call you Koutarou?"
"Hmm..yeah...If you go to sleep."
"Haha yeah."
"Bokuto. " Bokuto was now awake, but he didn't open his eyes. He smiled, so Akaashi knew he was awake." Bokuto, we are going to be late for school. We can't ditch." Bokuto shook his head in reply. " Bo-...Koutarou." As if by magic, Bokuto opened his eyes. Akaashi chuckled under his breath. " Koutarou, you should go back into your room now," Bokuto whined but nodded. He gave Akaashi a quick peck on the cheek before heading over to the window. " Koutarou, you need to wake up no- Ah, I see. " Anzu started and once she analyzed the situation around her she responded to it. "Well, I've made breakfast. Come on."
"Ok!" Bokuto walked off and climbed through the window, Akaashi waved and Bokuto waved back, " Bye Keiji!"
"Bye, Kou." Bokuto chuckled as he exited his own bedroom and Akaashi left his. He chuckled to himself. He hadn't really noticed the new nickname he had just given Bokuto, but for some reason, it made him happy. It was the love that drove him."What was that all about?"
"What was what, mom?"
"Keiji? Kou?"
"hm. Oh, yeah, we started calling each other by our first names." Bokuto said blushing. " And that was the first time he used that nickname but, I doubt it will be the last." And though he didn't think it was possible, Bokuto turned redder and knew it was very noticeable. "Koutarou, you know that I can see how red you are."
"Yes, I am aware." Anzu laughed.
"C'mon. Let's eat."
"Ye-yea. Ok." Bokuto stuttered still flustered. They ate through a comfortable silence. "It was great! Thank you for the food!"
"Yeah, your welcome. Glad you liked it. I already packed your lunch. It's in your bag by the door. Now get ready to leave fo-" Anzu was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"I'll Get It!" Bokuto said rushing to the door. Bokuto opened the door to see Akaashi head looking down, hands in pockets, and a red-tipped nose and red cheeks. "Keiji? What are you doing here?"
"Uh, I thought we could walk to school together," Akaashi said, still looking down.
"Yeah sure. Just gimme a sec." Bokuto ran around the house frantically gathering all his stuff and he got back to the door. He swang his backpack over a shoulder and waved to his mother. " Bye, mom. I might be longer to get home today."
" Alright, Koutarou. Longer? Will you be with Akaashi?"
Bokuto nervously chuckled." Probably." Bokuto turned his head to face Akaashi, " If that's alright with you?"
"Yeah," Akaashi said, his eye's gaze hadn't moved from the floor. He was staring at his feet as they shuffled on the feet, cold. Bokuto waved again then stepped outside. He closed the door behind him. It was like in the movies, it was quite the cliche, but the wind brushed past the two, and Akaashi's hair swayed to the side as he looked up and smiled. Bokuto was astounded by the beauty, but all he could do was fix the biggest smile on his face, but he blushed.
"Hey, hey, heyyy!" He greeted his friends.
" Hey! Bokubroooo!"
"What's up?!"
"I'm still totally in love with Kenma and there's nothing I can do." Bokuto laughed.
"Well, since there's no morning practice, see you all later." He waved at the team walking away with Kuroo. " Bye Keiji!"
"Bye, Kou." Akaashi smiled sweetly and now Bokuto and Kuroo were just small figures in the background. "Ooh. What was that?" Atsumu said wiggling his eyebrows.A/n: btw, I changed Ohira to Atsumu so I changed the characters again. So he is also on the team. And there is also Yahaba as pitch server. Atsumu is a wing spiker in this story cos I've changed the characters too much already.
"Atsumu, you're one to talk with your 'omi-omi'.
"You know Akaashi, you are really cold!" Akaashi rolled his eyes.Tendou and Akaashi walked into class together and Tendou was singing a song Akaashi didn't know. " Baki Baki ne ore Nani wo." That was what he sang. They say down at a desk. " So seriously, what's up with you and Bokuto? You never call him Koutarou."
"I didn't."
"true, you called him by a nickname. Even rarer."
"What's up with you and Ujishima? You call him Ushiwaka."
"I call everyone by nicknames. And don't try to change the topic."
" I would never," Akaashi said dramatically. "I'm really just curious." He said sarcastically.
"Kashi, I'm being se-"
"Settle down kids, settle down!" Tendou was interrupted by a teacher. That was where their conversation ended.
A/n so, I didn't really know how to end this paragraph but there you go. I hope you enjoyed this one and you still understand everything about the characters. I Have changed them like a billion times already. Also, sorry If you don't ship the extra side ships I put in here but I just really wanted to add them cus I love these ships so much. I'm probably gonna do books on all of these ships. Even if they are just one shot. Also, I wanna know what ships you want me to write about and if you want me to go into more detail with these ships in this book. And, sorry for the trashiness of this writing. *Sigh*
Okk bye.
