Into The Shadows (Part 5)

Previously on Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy: Alistor continues to torment Railo, making him believe that he is responsible for the suffering of his friends. Railo tries to reason with Alistor, urging him to overcome the darkness that has corrupted him but to no avail. Meanwhile, Blizzelle continues to question her existence, as per the aftermath of her duel against Tyler. As she ponders about the situation, she recovers her memory from her past life and remembers how both she and her little brother passed away, trapped in a fire. Eventually, back in Keyron, Railo is able to summon out his powerful monster Neo-Galactic Warlord, whose devestating effect would have finished Alistor off. Alistor in turn, survives the effect and remains unharmed, having summoned a new monster out to the field.

The duel between Alistor and Railo continues. Alistor's Life Points at 3300 and Railo's Life Points at 1650.

Alistor continues to laugh in hysteria. "Right from the start, I knew you would summon your most powerful monster as a desperate attempt to defeat me, Railo. I saw it all coming, but I just thought it'd be entertaining to watch you build up pointless confidence!"

"I.. don't understand", says Railo. "How can you have any life points left?"

"Not just that", adds Kiram, "how did he get that gigantic behemoth on his field".

"Just like Keyron, I'm full of surprises", says Alistor, smiling fiendishly. "You seem to believe that you have out-smarted me Rai, but I'll be more than delighted to explain to you why it is that you are wrong."

Dante then notices that one of the cards Alistor previously Set on the field is now face-up. "Ahh. He activated one of his face down cards", Dante states.

"Oh but of course", says Alistor as he turns to look at Dante. "It seems to me like you owe someone an apology. Here you were talking trash about my intellect, but as it appears, I'm always two steps ahead".

Dante grunts.

"Anyway pal", says Alistor, redirecting his attention to Railo. "When you activated your monster's special ability, I activated my quick-spell, Fusion Spectrum."

Everyone is intrigued by Alistor's Spell Card.

"Fusion Spectrum", Alistor continues, "allows me to fusion summon a monster during your turn. Furthermore, Fusion Spectrum cannot be countered by any other card. An even bigger beauty of this card is that it allows me to use monsters that are in my hand and on my field. So I simply fused all three monsters that were on my field with the Gemstone Girl Sapphira and Prismal Dracoknight that I had in my hand. A combination of my monsters gave life to this powerful beast of mine, Gem-Eyes Prismal Dragon. Let's get to the gut wrenching climax. Gem-Eyes's original attack points becomes the number of fusion materials I used multiplied by one thousand points. Since I used five monsters in total, my monster's attack points become well you do the math". (Gem-Eyes Prismal Dragon -> Level 10 5000ATK/2500DEF)

"His monster has five thousand attack points!" Winona takes note.

"How very perceptive", says Alistor.

"But your monster should have been destroyed by my monster's ability regardless", says Railo.

"Wishful thinking", Alistor responds, "however, Gem-Eyes Prismal Dragon cannot be destroyed by the effects of any cards."

"So your monster can't be destroyed?" Railo asks.

"I don't believe I stuttered", Alistor responds. "You can destroy my monster in battle however, though I doubt you can bring out a monster more powerful than mine".
