Previously on Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy: After coming face to face with Demeter in the dark world of Keyron, Railo challenges him to a duel, demanding to know where Ryou is located at. As the duel began, Demeter instantly brought out his Xyz Monster "Sinister Dark Demon". After putting Railo in a tough spot, Seth managed to bring out his ace monster "Photon Warlord" and finally get rid of Sinister Dark Demon. However, Demeter was far from defeated as he took control of Photon Warlord and used him to bring out his true ace monster "Sinister Des Shadow". It is then where Demeter revealed himself. He taunts Railo with his high spirit in friendship.

In the dark world of Keyron, the intense and ongoing duel between Railo and Demeter continues. Many things have been revealed. The mysterious Demeter finally confessed his true persona. Is there more behind his betrayal and sinister behavior? Or is Demeter really determined to harm Railo and his friends. Seth's Life Points are currently at 200, while Demeter's Life Points are at 1475.

"Your friends are about to suffer a terrible cost Railo. And it's all your fault", says Demeter, intending to torment Railo.

"This duel isn't over yet Demeter", says Railo, "and I'm sick of talking. It's still your move".

"This duel will end soon", says Demeter, "Now where was I. Oh yes. I was on the verge of defeating you. Sinister Des Shadow, attack him directly!"

"Not so fast", says Railo, "You're way in over your head if you think this duel is over Demeter. It's far from over! I activate my trap Mirror Force. This trap will end your Sinister Des Shadow".

"Perhaps you may have put a hault to my monster's direct attack", says Demeter, "however you cannot get rid of my monster with such ease. I activate my trap Sinister Treaty! You gain life points equal to my monster's attack points but it saves my monster from destruction. Fortunately for you, my monster is instantly switched to defense mode as well." Railo's Life Points increase to 3200.

"Now Rai may have a chance to actually take Demeter down!"exclaims Terra cheerfully.

"I'd hate to ruin your oh so joyous moment", says Demeter, "from my hand I activate my monster's special ability! By banishing Sinister Phantom from my hand, when your life points are increased, my life points increase by the same amount." Demeter's Life Points increase to 4450, as he laughs. "As a penalty though, I cannot draw next turn nor conduct my battle phase. Won't matter though. I have something else planned for you. I end my turn."

Meanwhile back on Earth, Kira is still watching over Pylon inside the Terminal City Stadium. It has been hours since Kira has heard from Railo and the rest.

"Do you think they're okay?" Kira asks.

"Of course they are", responds Wisteria, "Railo and your friends were able to handle us I'm sure they can take on whatever they come against in there".

"I suppose you're right", answers Kira, "I'm just so worried. Who knows what dangers they can face in there."

The portal to Keyron is still open; however, Kira does not dare to go in alone. Suddenly, they hear footsteps.

"Is anybody there?" says a voice from afar.

"Someone is in here" says Blizzelle quietly.

"Who is it?" asks Wisteria in a low tone.

The footsteps get louder, signaling the group that the person is approaching their direction. The person finally reveals themself. The finally revealed young male stares at Kira.
