Arctic Showdown (Part 2)

Previously on Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy: While Railo, Kiram, and the rest of the Holders continue to search for Ryou, back on Earth, Kira, Wisteria, Blizzelle, and Psimon are put under pressure by their audience who bought tickets to spectate the tournament. They demand for a refund and almost incite a riot, but Wisteria promises an exciting duel between her and Kira. Tyler, an arrogant young male accuses them of being impostors and claims that the tournament was only a money stealing scheme. Angered by his arrogance and accusations, Blizzelle challenges him to duel. The duel begins and Blizzelle is able to deal massive damage to Tyler while also bringing out her powerful Xyz Monster "Abominable Blizzard Giant". Things take a change when it is revealed that Tyler is being manipulated by Wally and Tyler is able to put Blizzelle in a tough corner with his three Solardust monsters at over 3000 ATK each.

"Any last words?" Tyler asks. "My monsters are about to stomp over your Blizzard Giant!"

Blizzelle begins to laugh. "It appears you have forgotten about the effect of my field spell Tyler. Let me re-jog your memory, when Ice Crystal Palace has ice counters on it, only water monsters can declare an attack. And unless my eyes deceive me, it's safe to say that all of your monsters are of light attribute."

"Your vision is perfectly fine and you are correct, though you have forgotten about my face down cards."

"One of his face down cards may be his way out of Blizzelle's lockdown", comments Kira.

"Well Blizzelle better have a counter for whatever this punk tosses at her. If he attacks with all three of his monsters she's a goner", adds Psimon

"I activate one of my face down cards!" Tyler exclaims, "Behold my spell card Solardust Helioscope! This card will serve as my trump card Blizzelle. Allow me to explain why. Solardust Helioscope prevents Solardust monsters on my field from being affected by the effects of your spell cards".

"Oh no!" Kira shouts, concerned.

"Since my monsters are no longer affected by your field spell I can attack you with all of my monsters", says Tyler as he laughs. "You laughed at me and now it is I who should laugh at you. They do say that those who laugh last laugh best. And in this situation it's more than true."

'No. This isn't over just yet. I cannot let my friends down again' Blizzelle thinks to herself, 'The last time I failed them it was just a betting duel, but this time the stakes are much more higher. And that is why I won't lose. At least not now'.

"Well you might just have to save your laughter because you're not gonna lay a finger on my monster Tyler", says Blizzelle, "I activate my trap Arctic Gale! This trap is going to switch all three of your monsters to defense mode and I get to draw one card. And since your monsters are in defense position, Solardust Thunderbird can no longer carry out its attack."

"Oh so you think that will change the outcome of this duel?" asks Tyler.

"I'm not sure about that", Blizzelle responds, "But at least I bought myself another turn."

"A turn isn't going to make a difference. And I'm not quite done with mine yet. You see even though my monsters are in defense mode I can still cause some major damage."

"What is he talking about?" Psimon asks. "Blizzelle! Be on your best guard".

"Of course I will", Blizzelle responds.

"Ha. I forgot to mention that Solardust Thunderbird is also a tuner monster", says Tyler.

"So he's planning to Synchro Summon", says Kira.
