Duel of Deception (Part 2)

Last time on Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy: After defeating the Shadow Hunter, Dimaru, Terra was confronted by Wally. Terra vowed to stop Wally from continuing his plans for revenge. Both Terra and Wally commence a duel, which Wally turns into a sinister game where not only life points are lost, but their memories as well. Terra brings out her Synchro Monster "Earth Fairy - Demetria" and deals damage to Wally. However, Wally brings out his Synchro Monster "Heraldry Enchantor", which has devestating anti-Synchro effects. Winona and Dante come to see the duel, intending to support Terra. Wally puts Terra in a tough corner with his monster, claiming that there is no escape for Terra.

Suddenly, Terra finds herself on a narrow path, shrouded in darkness. "I feel so alone", says Terra, as she walks through the gloomy path. At the other end of the dark corridor, Terra sees her brother, Thomas. "Thomas.? Is that you?" Terra begins to run toward her brother's ghostly image. When she reaches his location he disappears. "Noooooo!" Terra shouts, "I need you!.. Huh?". Terra looks down beneath her and she sees herself as a young child, back when she lived with her family. She sees Thomas giving her younger self a piggy back ride. "Where am I?" Terra asks herself. "Why am I here?".

"I love you big brother", says the young toddler Terra.

"I love you too sis", responds a younger Thomas. The young Terra attacks Thomas with an enormous hug.

"Tommy will you always be here to protect me?"

"Of course I will little sis"

"Pinky promise?" says the young Terra as she sticks out her pinky.

"Pinky promise sis", Tommy responds, connecting his pinky with Terra's pinky.

"Yay! Your the bestest big brother in the world!".

Terra realizes that this is a flashback of her childhood. Terra's eyes begin to produce small tears. "Tommy.." says Terra in a soft voice. Suddenly the image of her flashback disappears. A ghastly screen appears in front of Terra. The screen portrays yet another of Terra's memories. It shows the time when Terra was separated from her brother by Child Protective Services. Terra bursts into tears as she watches the tragic image as she hears her younger self crying for her brother. The ghastly screen then explodes, causing Terra to fall back. While Terra sits on the floor she notices that a dozen of ghastly screens are surrounding her, each depicting a memory of when she met Railo and the other Holders and of everything they have been through together. All of the ghastly screens turn black and an image of Wally appears on all screens. Wally laughs demonically and then all of the screens explode. "I have nothing left..." says Terra to herself, "Why is this happening? Is it all just a dream?".

"Almost," says a voice from behind. Terra gets up and turns around only to come face to face with Thomas.

"Thomas? This can't be.. You passed away years ago." Terra hugs Thomas. "I miss you Tommy. Things aren't the same with out you. I feel so afraid and alone".

"You should be", responds Thomas.

"Huh?" Terra asks as she breaks away from Thomas. Thomas's face morphs and takes on the appearance of Wally.

"No. Wally..", says Terra.

"Looks like big brother broke his promise huh? Oh look there he is!" Wally exclaims as he points behind Terra. Terra turns and sees Thomas standing at a distance. "Thomas!" exclaims Terra.

"Little sis!" yells Thomas.

As Terra tries to run toward Thomas, Wally begins to laugh, and what appeared to be Thomas bursts into flames. "Nooooooooo!" screams Terra. Wally continues to laugh maniacally, enjoying Terra's demise.
