Previously on Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy: Blizzelle engages in a duel with a young male, named Tyler, due to his arrogant and bothersome demeanor. As their duel progressed, it is revealed that Tyler is nothing more than a mind slave for Wally. Wally is able to use his powers to taunt Blizzelle with memories of her past life. Although Blizzelle wins the duel, she begins to question her existence, since she knows she shouldn't be alive. She eventually distances herself from all her friends and recovers a tragic memory of her and her younger brother's death.

Blizzelle climbs on top of the rail, gazing into the distance. She can see the the dark, gloomy clouds covering the entire East and West regions. As the wind runs through her hair, she thinks to herself. 'Oh Nathaniel, what I would give to have you here with me again. How can I call myself a hero if I couldn't even save my own little brother?'

As Blizzelle continues to stand atop of the rail, a flyer smacks her right on the face. She yells and falls backward, landing on the sidewalk, right on her bottom. "What is this?" Blizzelle asks herself. Blizzelle takes a look at the flyer and is surprised at what it displays.

"Missing Children", Blizzelle reads to herself as she looks at the many pictures of children who have gone missing recently. 'Poor kids' Blizzelle thinks to herself. 'I can imagine how worried and upset their parents and families must be'.

'Big sister help me!!'

Blizzelle can hear Nathaniel calling out for her.

'Get a grip Blizzelle, you're losing it'.

Blizzelle continues walking toward the East

Meanwhile, in Keyron, Lustros stands in front of a group of Keyron inhabitants.

"You have all been gathered here because I have an important task for you all", begins Lustros. "It appears that we have a handful of intruders, coming here from Earth. Us Keyron dwellers do not take kindly to strangers. You must stop them from furtherly invading our world! Locate them and defeat them all. Show them how Shadow Hunters welcome strangers."

"Magmus!" Darkos shouts as he walks up to him.

"Yes master, how may I serve you?" Magmus responds.

"I will not tolerate any more of your indiscretions!", Darkos responds in a serious and loud tone.

"I beg your pardon?"

"My affairs are not to be questioned and they are not public information. I have come to the discovery that you informed Lustros of my previous doings. Lustros now plans to turn against me and I cannot and will not allow it. Now I'd appreciate it if you'd keep things to yourself from now on. It'd be a shame for one of the Dark Warriors to suddenly go missing."

"What do you mean?" asks Magmus.

"Just do as I say and there should be nothing for you to worry about," Darkos responds. He grins and then walks away.

Blizzelle continues to walk toward the East.

'Is this part of destiny's will?' Blizzelle asks herself. 'What if Psimon was right? Maybe we were brought back to serve a purpose. I don't know. But I am certain that I will help find these missing kids.'

As Blizzelle reaches an alley, a not too narrow, but also not too wide, corridor sandwiched in between two tall buildings, she sees a strange man from a far.
