Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy

The Past Hurts

Last time on Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy: Demeter continues to torment Railo with his betrayal. Demeter's ace monster Sinister Des Shadow put Railo in a tough spot. However, Railo was able to summon the Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon he received from Taiki. With it, along with Photon Warlord, he defeated Demeter. Demeter then apologized for his actions but it was not long after that they were all confronted by the Masked Man, who claims to have been aiming in on Kiram for revenge. After a brief revelation of the past, the Masked Man finally revealed himself.

Laughing maniacally, the Masked Man begins to remove his mask slowly revealing his face. Once the mask is finally off, he tosses the mask to the side. "Surprise Kiram", he says as he laughs, "Remember me?". Kiram, Railo, and Dante are shocked by his true identity.

"Wally...", says Railo, "It's you.."

"You remember me well too Railo don't you?", says Wally, "And the name is Wallace. I am not the same child you met back in high school."

"What's wrong with your face?" asks Dante, noticing dark scars on Wally's face.

"No.." says Railo, "A better question is, why?"

"Why what?" asks Wally.

"Why did you do all of this. You've harmed many innocent people", Railo responds.

"You can thank Kiram for that", says Wally as he chuckles. Kiram just glares at Wally with fury.

"What does Kiram have to do with any of this?" asks Dante.

"Kiram is the reason why I ended up in this desolate world to begin with", starts Wally, "Remember when you, Railo, and Kira began to search for the Synergy Spheres? The night when I took the Synergy Spheres from you and Railo and tricked you guys into going inside the cave, I was outside feeling victorious that I had finally obtained two synergy spheres. At the time it was what I always dreamed of due to stories and research I had done on them. As all of you know though there was someone at the time who was after all of the Synergy Spheres. We all know very well who that person is." Wally points at Kiram. "It was you Kiram. You were after the Synergy Spheres. Your ambition into obtaining them was so great that you kidnapped Railo's father and tricked Railo into gathering them for you. You harmed many innocent people. Rafael, Heraldo, Zander. Other people you harmed stand among us right now."

All of them turn to look at Kiram. Kiram's face begins to show regret.

"Anyway", begins Wally once more, "That night I took the synergy spheres I was confronted by Kiram. Don't you remember?." Wally begins to address Kiram. "You demanded that I hand over the synergy spheres to you. When I refused you used the power of your synergy ring to trap me in this world. It was here where I lost everything! Hour past hour I lived an eternal nightmare as my heart soul and mind were swallowed up by the shadows and the darkness of this world. It was absolute torture. I felt as if there was no hope left for me. That is until I was rescued from my demise. I was rescued by Darkos."

"Darkos.." repeats Dante, remembering that name well. Darkos is the mysterious being who manipulated his father and killed him.

"Yes Darkos", says Wally, "It was thanks to him that I was freed from the even darker side of this world. He granted me some of the powers that I own today. By that time my memory was completely gone. However, the torture I lived within this world remained as an internal scar. It was Darkos who reminded me how I ended up in here. Of course Darkos wanted something in exchange. He asked me to return to Earth to obtain the Synergy Items for him."

"That explains it all", says Railo, "But dont you see? Darkos doesn't care about you or anyone. He's just using you to get what he wants. Once he's done he'll dispose of you".
