Into The Shadows (Part 4)

Previously on Yu-Gi-Oh! Synergy: Wally is able to break Alistor emotionally during their duel, by use of his sinister mind games. In turn, the darkness that Darkos planted in his soul corrupts him, and he becomes a Shadow Duelist. The duel is interrupted when Wally senses the arrival of the Holders. Having become a Shadow Duelist, Alistor confronts Railo, who he blames for Terra's undoing, and challenges him to a Shadow Duel. As their duel progresses Alistor brutally torments Railo mentally and emotionally, and puts him in a tough corner utilizing his newly acquired Prismal monsters.

In Keyron world, Darkos watches the progressing duel between Alistor and Railo.

"This will be a true test, little Railo", says Darkos out loud to himself. "Alistor is unlike any adversary that you have faced in the past. The rage and fury that dwells within his heart is abundant. In contribution with the power that I granted him, you are faced with an outcome of certain defeat. Oh Wallace. Always getting in the way. Always sabotaging my plans. In the end though, your stupidity serves me well. You don't know it, but your intrusions always end up helping me. Nonetheless though I must find the perfect way to bring you to your end... Even if the solution to that issue is death".

"We wouldn't have to worry about Wallace had it not been for your ill-considered actions", says Lustros as he walks into Darkos' lair.

"You again?" Darkos responds. "Did I not make it clear enough that I'm the one who makes the decisions here?"

"Of course", Lustros responds, "but as a leader you should be taking measures that will help us accomplish our goal; however, you've been doing the exact opposite. Your performance as leader of the Dark Warriors is distressingly awful."

"I..." briefly begins Darkos before being immediately interrupted.

"But alas", continues Lustros, "I am not here to criticize your position as leader. I have returned to notify you that I have called off the search for the Synergy Items. Instead, I and the rest will focus on crushing each one of the Holders, as well as Wallace."

"Under whose authority?!" Darkos angrily asks.

"Mine", Lustros responds in a serious tone.

"You cannot do that! I will not allow it!" Darkos exclaims, his eyes glowing red.

"I am not asking for your consent Darkos, the decision is made and I am not stepping back. I will not wait around and watch as you bring us to our undoing. I will see to it that we fulfill our mission, but I will do it by my terms. I understand you're our leader, but your recent actions have proven your incapability to lead our cause."

"Everything is going according to plan Lustros and if you choose to get in my way I will not hesitate to..."

"To what?" Lustros interrupts. "I'm not like those humans you enjoy toying with, I do not fear you and you pose no threat to me. I'm done here. Farewell".

"Do not shower yourself with victory you fool", says Darkos, "turning against me will be a mistake you will regret."

Lustros turns to look back at him, "Test me. As I said, you do not bring fear to me. I had hoped it wouldn't come to this but if war is what you want then war is what you'll receive." Lustros walks away.

"Lustros you imbecile you will pay for your insolence!!" Darkos exclaims.

The duel between Alistor and Railo continues; with Alistor's Life Points at 3300 and Railo's Life Points at 2150.

"And now Railo, my revenge will finally be complete", says Alistor. "That is, of course, after I defeat you. So let's get to it. Prismal Wyvern attack Railo directly! Spectral Stream!."
