The Plan to Retake Trost

You laid your head on the table as you sat next to Jean and across from Marco. Jean's lips hadn't pulled away from the water since you guy sat down. You could hear Ymir and Conny talking, but you were drowning out the noises. What you had just saw. Eren coming out of a titan. It was all still stuck in your head.

"Jean don't tell me you got Mikasa hurt." You heard Ymir's voice and you craned your neck to see Jean look over at her. Anytime Mikasa's name was mentioned, he was all eyes and ears. "I can't tell you. We've been given a confidentiality order." Jean looked back at you, but you kept your head down on the table.

"There's no way the news isn't going to spread soon." You muttered to Jean as you slowly closed your eyes. "What you exhausted?" Jean tapped you on the shoulder. "Yes, now piss off." You turned your head the other way to look away from Jean. "Hey I just led you through that fucking mess." Jean scoffed as he picked up the water bag again.

"Mhm. I know you did." You yawned as you stretched your arms over your head and sat up. "Now piss off." You smirked as you reached out and grabbed the water bag from his hands. "L/N. I'm going to-" You took a quick sip of water, using your foot to keep Jean back.

"I can't stand you." Jean rolled his eyes as he snatched the water back. Amidst your fighting, you realized Marco had gone elsewhere. You turned to see him holding back a cadet as Sasha sat near him. "I can't go on!" The cadet in Marco's arms screamed and struggled.

"There's smoke inside the wall!" You heard people shouting in the streets. You and the others quickly hurried out from the cover of a building t get a view. You stared up in the sky at the cloud of smoke. As you stood there, some cadets zipped by, using their ODM gear to push them near the smoke.

"Hey!" Jean looked to you and you nodded your head. You both pushed off the cement street and fly through the air on your gear. You noticed the cadets that had first gone towards the smoke were Reiner, Bertholdt and Annie. It was always those three together.

You landed on a rooftop near all the smoke. "What the hell." You muttered to yourself as you looked at the Garrison Regiment surrounding the cloud of smoke. You couldn't see anything besides bones that peaked out from the smoke. "Is that, Eren?" You looked to Jean with wide eyes.

His eyes were glued to the skeletal figure as the smoke began to clear. "How the hell is Eren inside a skeleton?"

You looked around in the crowd as the talking got louder. "They expect us to plug up the hole in the wall? They actually have a plan?" You heard cades talking to your side. "Defending Wall Rose is our only real option right now." The cadets all around you were clearly uneasy, but you tried to keep your cool.

"No! I don't want to die!" You quickly turned to see the man next to Marco with his hands over his head, the same guy that was freaking out before. "Hey! Daz, not so loud!" Marco grabbed a hold of the guy as he continued to shout. "You! I heard that!" You stood frozen when you heard an officer yelling Marco's way.

You watched as the officer headed over to Marco and the guy. "Do you intend to abandon your duty?!" The guy yelled down at Daz. "Yes, I do!" Daz removed his hands from his head and looked up at the officer. "What do you take humanity for?! It's within my authority to execute you on the spot!" The officer grabbed onto his blade.

Daz grabbed onto his blade, pulling it out a little bit. "It's better than getting eaten by titans!" You couldn't bear to watch what was happening. You hide yourself behind Jean so that you wouldn't have to look. You could hear Marco's voice amidst the two men.

You could hear people all around you trying to create plans to get out of there. "Attention!" You heard the loud yell from the top of the wall and looked to see a man standing before the crowd. Commander Pyxis. "I will now explain to you the details of the Trost Recovery Operation!"

The crowd became silent and got bac in their positions. "To achieve the objective of sealing the wall, I'd like to introduce you to Eren Jaeger!" Eren stepped up to stand beside Pyxis and your heart stopped. Eren?! They're using Eren?

"He is able to fabricate a titan's body and control it at will!" You looked around to see everyone's shocked faces. You could hear Connie talking, but were too far to make out what he was saying.

The Commander began going over the plan. How Eren was going to lift a giant boulder, carry it to the gate and use that to seal it. In your mind it sounded crazy, yet doable. Your job was to defend him from other titans. "You're lying! What do you take us for?!" Once again Daz was shouting.

You could hear other voices beginning to agree with Daz. "I'm outta here!" People began walking away from the crowd. "By my order, all those who leave now are absolved of their crime!" Pyxis' voice echoed throughout the street. "Those who want their family to experience the same horrors may leave!"

The people leaving paused and began to return. "We cant afford to die any further inside. I kindly ask you Please die here!" You stood frozen, looking up at Pyxis and Eren. Your one hope is that you made it to the scouts, which mean you had to make it past this.
