I Fell For You (Jean x Reader)

The Female Titan

You sat anxiously on your horse as you waited for the formation to advance. The gate was not yet open, but the anticipation made it so much worse. You stroked the dark mane of your horse, which you took the liberty of naming Midnight, because of it's black coat and mane.

"You'll do me good, right Midnight?" You patted his head and looked back up. "This is it! Humanity is now about to take another step forward! Show us what you're made of!" The section leader shouted back at you and your group.

"Open the gate!" Someone shouted from the front and the stone gate began to lift up. Your heart was racing as it rose up. "Forward!" Commander Erwin yelled and you all immediately began racing forward on the horses. the 57th Expedition had started.

You rode on the horse through the abandoned district. You found yourself looking at the wreckage that was left of the homes. "10-meter to the left!" You heard someone yell, and the cadets front he support squad immediately jumped off their horses and flew to the left.

"Forward!" The man continued to yell as the support squad dealt with the titan. The scenery soon changed for the city to endless grass and scattered trees. The area was very open, which made it hard to use the ODM gear. The formation soon split up, and people began dispersing.

You were left with Armin and Jean. "See you later, Armin." Reiner moved off to the right. "Don't wet your pants if you run into a titan! Same for you Y/N!" Jean looked to as you moved further away from each other.

Your hair blew behind you as you rode through the countryside. You were focused on keeping your eyes peeled for any signs of titans, as well as keeping your hands on the reigns of the spare horse you were in charge of. It was only a little bit before you spotted a red smoke signal in the air.

You quickly reached into the pouch on your horse and pulled out the red canister and shot it off in the sky. You continued riding through the grassy terrain, looking around and occasionally behind you.

You swiveled your head towards the right, and noticed the black smoke. You quickly pulled out a black cannister and loaded it in your smoke gun. You pulled the trigger, sending it off in the air.

You could see Armin a little bit away from you, his blonde hair standing out. You squinted as you noticed a titan appearing near Armin. "Shit, did Ness and Cis miss one?" You spoke to yourself as Armin darted away from the titan. You speed up the horse and watched as Armin let go of the spare horse he had.

The titan finally caught up to Armin. He was so far away from you, anything you tried, you wouldn't have made it in time. You watched as Armin flew off the horse and the tian knelt down to look at Armin. "Armin!" You shouted as the Titan stood back up and continued to run, leaving Armin unharmed.

You moved in closer to Armin, just as Reiner approached him on a horse. "Armin! Take this spare one!" You handed him the reigns as you slowed down to greet him. "Hurry! There's no surviving out here!" Armin quickly hopped onto the horse and you three made your way, following the abnormal titan.

"It's not an abnormal! It's a person in a titan's body!" Armin looked to you and Reiner as he reached onto the side of the horse. "What?!" You looked at the titan, who was still running. "I need to fire a smoke signal!" Armin began to loud his smoke gun, but you heard a shot go off behind you.

"Hold on. It looks like Jean is here and fired on." Reiner slowed down his horse a little bit and you and Armin followed. Jean quickly caught up to you guys. "Apparently part of the right wing has been wiped out!" You looked to the right to see the dozens of yellow smoke signals.

"A horde of titans showed up. No one is on spotting duty now." Jean looked at Armin. "Did she lead the titan's here?" Armin pointed to the titan in front of you guys. "She? What's a titan doing over there?!" Jean broke out in a sweat as he looked at the female titan.

"It's a human in a titan's body. The same thing as Eren."

"What makes you think that?" Reiner looked to Armin. "eating is all titans do. More experienced solider went for her nape and she protected it. She didn't eat them. I think she might be searching for someone. Could it be Eren?!"

"Eren? He's with Levi. They're in charge of the right wing." Your eyes widened as Reiner spoke. "The right wing?" You called out to him from beside Jean. "My copy of the plan had them in the rear of the left wing." Jean furrowed his eyebrows. "I had them in the front of the right wings." You frowned and looked to Armin.

"They're most likely at the safest spot, the center.-" "Armin! Smoke signals aren't enough. We should distract her from this distance. We can buy some time for people to retreat." Jean looked to the others for agreement. "It only takes one swipe for her to kill us and she's intelligent."

"That's some scary stuff." Jean smiled in pain. "Hey, are you really Jean? You only care about yourself usually." You giggled and Jean shook his head. "Shut it. I just don't want to meet a disappointing end as a bunch of burnt bones you can't tell are mine. I know what needs to be done! Help me!" Jean yelled out, looking at you, Reiner and Armin sternly.

"Put your hoods on! All the way, so she can't see your face! She can't risk killing us if she can't tell who is Eren!" Armin pulled up his green hood and you all followed suit. You reached back, bringing the hood over your head. "I always knew I could count on you Armin." Jean smiled as he pulled his hood up.

You all quickly dispersed and got at different angles as the Female Titan ran in front of you. Jean was to your left, Armin to your right and Reiner all the way right from you. You frowned as you tried to focus on the titan in front of you. You turned to look at Jean to bring his hand to his mouth as he brought up his sword.

The hand he held Marco's ashes in. You smiled and grabbed your blades. Jean tried grappling onto the Female Titan, but she swiftly moved out of the way, changing her direction. "Shit." You watched Jean land on the ground as the titan swung down her arm.

Her hand hit Armin's horse, sending him flying onto the dirt. You changed direction, heading with Jean over to the Female Titan. "Armin!" You jumped off of Midnight, grappling onto the female titan. Jean and you flew around the titan. "Fuck, she's covering her nape." You looked at her, using her hand to cover her nape.

She brought out her hand, getting ready to strike you and Jean. "Jean! Y/N! Avenge that suicidal maniac!" Armin yelled out at you guys, and the Female Titan stopped moving her hand. "She killed him! In the right wing! She's the one!" You finally caught on to what Armin was doing.

Damn, he really is a genius. You and Jean quickly moved away from her and you came crashing down onto the earth. You quickly picked yourself back up on your feet and looked back at the titan. You looked to see Reiner advancing towards the titan, taking his hood off. What was he doing?

He aimed his hooks straight at the titan's nape. As Reiner shot up towards her nape, she reached out and quickly grabbed him in her hand. You could see some scarlet liquid squirt as she held onto him. "Reiner!" You screamed as you watched the titan press her thumb down onto Reiner's head.

"Holy fuck." You stumbled back as you started to feel nauseous. You stayed focused on the Female Titan's hand and out of nowhere, there was a splash of blood. You could see the spinning blades of Reiner. He sliced off the titan's fingers and headed towards Armin. He scooped him up and began running with you and Jean.

"We bought enough time! I don't think she will follow us!' Reiner shouted over to you and Jean. "Look! She's running home!" You looked behind you as you continued to run to see her turn back, running back in the direction you all came from.
